Yes, we all have days like that. NEVER change the address! Cancel sale, make them change their listed address then re-purchase. My eBay woke up Wednesday evening and Thanksgiving day. Sold some clothes and sportscards. Had been a real quiet month until then!

Agreed. Make them change the address on their account and buy it after you cancel and relist. Otherwise, they could claim you didn’t send it and demand a refund.

As far as trash bags being expensive.. I have been watching your channels, this one and the Bearded Thrift Machine for a while. Go back and watch all the times you just hack at those trash bags and rip them open.. wow! I’m yelling in my head “ just slow down and untie those bags and reuse them! “ . Yeah plastic , and plastic pollution is huge.. we all gotta do our part to reduce..recycle.. reuse.. and you all are champions just the nature of what your business is about, I’m not saying that you’re not. I love what you do, it’s the reason I watch your shows, just slow your roll a tiny bit when you come upon those trash bags filled with stuff and try to not rip every one up.

Do you know how many of those they used to dump the trash that was already in them. A lot. Also, they dry rot after sitting in storage over time. Probably not feasible to recycle used trash bags.

You need to stack the jeans sideways and put small labels on the edge. To keep them from falling use a bookend. The metal ones.

yes, that is what helps me here is the fees for getting rid of garbage. So many pass on the unit because of those extra fees but for me i have a pickup service that is automatically billed to my taxes so i started just using it and plus any extra my parent's business has a regular dumpster so i can finish filling it the day before it gets dumped at no added cost to me. then being a scrapper too i can get rid of the metal stuff too at no extra charge but get paid where the others add it to their dump prices because they won't separate it. I see you got paid $120 a ton for that scrap safe, we are getting $180 a ton(.09 a pound) in my area for scrap

I feel for y'all I recently cleaned out a 15 x 25 I personally don't purchase storage unit my buddy takes the furniture & gives me the general merchandise for free for my labor I do notice I average two truck loads to the trash, a half load of donations & one load of eBay merchandise. Three showers later I start listing.

When it comes to having to change the address. I place a post-it on my shipping label machine so I don’t forget.

I’m not a reseller and maybe I don’t know what I’m talking about….but…..for storing some items in your storage, you might consider the produce flats you can get for FREE (yes, FREE) at your local market. They come in various sizes but if you match the boxes (like all the organic blueberries in cartons come in a medium size box;the organic strawberries in cartons come in a larger size), they stack BEAUTIFULLY! They re also interlocking, can be written on, and most have built in handles on the sides. Just a thought. I’m the same sub that suggested you use air popped popcorn for packing breakables. 🤪

I guessed about $20 as a round figure for your scrap safe. There's a man (Dan the man) who drives around picking up trash (scrap metal) on a regular basis. He has an open bed pick up and I'm surprised at what he fills the bed up with. I don't know if the prices are the same as in your area but he's a regular scrapper.

I don’t change the address after purchase….you are doing so outside of eBay and no longer have coverage…if they say it’s not received or broken or damaged, eBay won’t cover it because you changed the address
