That drain line coming from the HVAC in the attic might need a good cleaning too. Usually right where it meets the PVC.

Acidic water from the AC condensate line. Can install neutralizer filter on AC line to help with this

@theplumbersplunger. Hmm. Is that typical for the sink trap to clog like that even with daily use of a running faucet? I was amazed how much white stuff I vacuumed out of a AC condensate drain (drains outside) after 2 years. Flushed with a gallon of water twice (2nd gallon was clear).

Mine does it more now that my wife and kids use dove. Fatty soaps are terrible. I regularly have to dump boiling water down the drain to melt all the fat deposits away.

I used to do a ton of drain cleaning and seen that before. Tooth paste build up, people with bad teeth using all kinds of toothpaste. I just use a regular snake for a bathroom sink line, no need for the fancy machine.

Must be a new house. That's blown insulation from the attic. I assume the extra hose is the HVAC drain which is in the attic. Some may have gotten into the unit when they blew in the attic. I would have wanted to clear the HVAC line out too. It may still have some in it which will end up in the trap again.

Tampons actually look like mice when you pull them out of a drain. This condensate cream does look like loose wet cotton though
