Did BR 2-10. If I recall the first races Sager came at the end of the route, 35 miler. Three Sisters I think within the first 5-6 miles. Forget what race Rick Plite made a course change to cut out Sager segment. To much snow and ice . Those first races starting out of Yankee Springs you froze your butt off if you didn't dress right for the occasion. 😂 And yeah , the worse part were other riders. Thanks for the memories, although that segment didn't look to bad this year.

That was a nice job! Saving your video to see if I can learn something. I crashed in the sand but without consequences. But I can't wait to go back next year. What tire and size did you use? I know talent is the major factor, but I am taking whatever help I can get to clear this section next year :)

Thanks! I used a 40mm (measures 42mm on the rim) Pirelli Cinturato H at 36/37 psi f/r. The key is consistent pedaling in a gear that keeps pressure on the pedals (not high cadence) and not too much weight on the front tire (while in deep sand).
