do NOT pull the needle from the back of the airbrush. it will contaminate rest of the airbrush with paint. remove it from the tip of the airbrush after you dismantle the nozzle instead

exactly. unfortunately it is described this way in the owner's manual.

I did that some times but after I found out that you could remove it from the front.

I kind of figured that on my own when I was clearing my first clog. It didn't seem smart to pull the dirty rod back through the housing.

guys, can i get away with spraying vallejo paints indoors witth the window open using a dust mask? also, is the vallejo cleaner alcohol base or lacquer?
@vallejocolors4 жыл бұрын
Hello. You do not need special protection to use our paints with airbrush. You can use your airbrush even with the window closed.

you MUST lubricate the parts after cleaning!
@gabrielbarile736 жыл бұрын
Vallejos airbrush cleaner has also a lubricant aditive so no need, unless you are going to leave your airbrush without use for a long time

not in this case, H&S uses self-lubricating VITON/PTFE (Teflon) seals. lubricant is only needed if there are cheap silicone or rubber seals in the pistol.

No way!! Do you have to do that after every colour you use, even if you spray bugger all, you have to go through all that EVERY TIME?? Well that’s put me off, more time cleaning that painting! Bummer.

no, only when you have finished your work. if you want to change to a different paint, you just put some cleaner in the cup and spray it out. then use the next paint. or you could leave some in and create a blend to have a smoother transition.
