Tesla Tip: Turn on Car Wash Mode - then the charge door won't open while washing. I think it also closes the HVAC intake and prevents soaking of the cabin air filter.

People are strange. My Y is a work van as much as it is my car. I’m a gardener and I use it for towing and hauling plants, mulch, tools, and my grubby self! I get it cleaned (as I’m often too idle to do it myself), about once a month. Meanwhile my wife, who’s forever bemoaning the cleanliness of our house (which is actually reasonably clean), will never clean her car, leaving it to me to do. But that’s about once a year when it’s her cars turn for a road trip! She moves around in a pigeon targeted 5 Series with tons of crumbs and crap inside. She doesn’t deserve a nice car! However it’s her car, her money, and none of my business! 😂 Just clean the bloody thing!
