I also imagine some of them have been sitting in someone's basement/attic/shed for who knows how long, accumulating all kinds of moisture, mold, dirt, assorted animal leavings, and lord knows what else. Maybe some from abandoned/neglected properties that finally changed hands. I mean, they're the professionals here, not me, but it is at least mildly concerning that they aren't wearing any kind of respiratory protection. Mold spores are no joke, though maybe the water is enough to keep it down.

Awesome work mates! I love the content of process videos. I see a lot of commentors posting similar hypothesis of how these came to be in the the state that they are or then"mud it to clean it for video view, then just chuck it in the bin". To shed a bit of light on rugs like this historically, they were built from a thousand years of technology to be repairable in the harshest extent. Way before even employing hundreds of servants to vaugly sweet the floors and at most beat the rugs to death with a towns helo every year of the estate spring cleaning. Most of these are silk or some varient of highly refined super strong materials and it was not uncomon for a large estate to procure a specialist family to build, repair and maintain these functional pieces of insulation/sound deadenoning/dust and dirt retainment tools for generations🎉 wayyy better work (to me bc of the smell mind) than a tanner😅

Я сам занимаюсь чиской мебели и ковровых покрытий. 1. Почему этот ковёр дорогой? 2. Если он реально дорогой, то такими методами восстановить чистоту это неправильно. 3. Боковую бохрому которая была или обрезали, оборвали, испортили. Если это была дорогая вещь то она обесценилась. 4. В целом неплохо. И можно много чего написать и + и -. Самое главное это недосказанность (ввести в заблуждение зрителя). Пример - Почистили уличный ковёр.

Я какрас работаю в чистке ковров, поверьте мне на слова, порой там бывают настолько грязные ковры, что их проще очистить облив бензином и сжигать до тла, но в таком случае для меня это было бы убыточный метод, так что приходится возится с такими коврами очень долго, бывают и такие что пятна ну ни как не выводятся, даже после нескольких повторных стирок, складывается впечатление что люди живут хуже домашнего скота.

I used to use large rugs over, around and under my dog kennel. It made a safe space for my Chihuahuas to go potty in the winter. Replaced them every year, but would have been nice to be able to clean and reuse. You folks do an awesome job!

Your dogs had to smell piss and shit for a year in their living space until you replaced them? I've met people like you. We visit their house as seldom as possible and are shocked at how nose blind the whole family becomes. (Even our nose blind friends have carpets that their dogs pee and shit on cleaned every month. They rent a carpet cleaning machine. Many places rent them, including some grocery stores.) Many families have suffered flooding on main floors in the past year and sometimes very expensive items are worth trying to do a more thorough clean repair.

Hermosa alfombra, pero al menos que sea una reliquia vale la pena tanto desperdicio de agua. Han probado tener un piso un poquito inclinado hacia el frente? Esto ayudaría a que el agua sucia resbalara hacia la alcantarilla y evitarían lavar tanto el piso, ahorrarían agua 😉. Fuera de eso, excelente trabajo !!!

It’s like Finding Waldo….except it’s find the Persian Flying carpet underneath the mud.. Ну не бывает такой грязи в домашних коврах. Даже коврики из прихожей меньше пачкаются. Итог:либо ковер лежал в свинарнике в буквальном смысле, либо его заранее "загрязнили " Для видео🧐
