Parents that says " if you do not study hard you end up like them ". Are basically passing wrong values to the young ones. Every job has it purposes. More worrying is that the children take on the wrong values from their parents and take short cuts in life ending up like a scammers

It’s too bad the architects who’d designed these super structures do not seem to consider the maintenance of them. Dangerous job for sure!

HDB and Pte Developers also didn't design to ease homeowners household chores burdens when they build our house internally. It should be design and made with self cleaning floors, wall and ceilings when they built them :(

@@Zenus21 I didn’t know you need harnesses, ropes, safety helmets, walkie talkies, carabiner clips, safety locks, and have to scale up and down support structures at home, but okay

Very nice video, thank you for sharing! Was interesting to see how they do this. I had no clue people actually even climb on top of it like this to clean it with all the little details. And I agree, I feel often times manual labor is not respected enough. People who keep everything running stop showing up for work and we got a big problem. Small geat in a system still serves an important function at the end of the day, even if people not aware of it. Also... Those bots really turning into an infestation on yt :/

It is so common in construction ~ also called “Spider-Man”. It is a labour intensive process. That is the problem of Design ~ beautifully but not practical. Practical design are functional but not necessarily aesthetically beautiful = Engineers vs Architect. Always the architect wins because developers want unique characteristics and then upon completion; complain of the cost of maintenance. An idiotic reality. Stupidity n Vanity.

Such a pity the capacity of the stadium is sacrificed for the huge domed roof. It's a beautiful stadium, don't get me wrong, but a 55,000 seater stadium is small for today's standard. Look at the capacities of stadiums in KL and other countries stadiums such as the US or the UK. Our National Stadium is beautiful and modern, but it's small.

I actually have no issue with our smaller capacity. I think the planners foresee that Singapore itself has low spectator rate across any sporting events nowadays. To me, a fully filled 50k stadium is much better than a half-filled 100k stadium. Although sadly this hasn't been achieved in any local sporting event iirc.

Billion dollar stupid design. No maintenance platform under the frames. Besides, the wiping process is tedious. I would rather use high pressure water blaster.

China *falsely* claims Taiwan 🇹🇼 as its "province". - What stops China from claiming Singapore as its "intrinsic" territory?

What you will never find in any CNA Insider video: criticism of the People's Power Party and the Singaporean government. It's little more than a government mouthpiece to project to the outside world and to reinforce in the minds of its citizens how awesome, futuristic and brilliant its government is. They never talk about anything that makes it look bad, or if they do it tamely, it's always immediately followed by a government official talking about how they're already working to fix it. The truth about Singapore is found elsewhere than on this channel, which is entertaining and has very well made documentaries, but which is little more than an endless infomercial.
