Also how to take care and make them last longer. Microfiber cloth is a great cleaning tool, it helps efficiently for daily dusting or home cleaning without much effort. But it has some other sides too which restrict its usage.

That's a lot of research and awesome information just about a micro-fiber cloth. Frankly from the time i knew about them i am in love with them. Though i bought a set of 3 cloths i am using this from last 5 years. But it really came as a shock that they are not bio-degradable. With just a carefree thought that its a kind of just a cloth never bothered to look for so much of information. But now as after i know that they not biodegradable and harmful to environment i am not buying any more. Those set was my first and last. Hi jaya, i was little hesitant to watch this video since i am following clean my space for the past one yr, so i thought same topic has been covered by them. But later my mind changed and watched it. I follow clean my space since long time and no doubt these cloths are so efficient in terms of cleaning. But we can not deny the fact that they made of plastic and we buy and throw things mindlessly. I think if we use them thoughtfully then that will be good for all of us.

Wow... Even I am a big fan of MF cloth and yes very recently I came to know about it's ugly truth and I second you on using it carefully so that I can use it for long. I don't like sponge wipes, it's difficult to clean them .... instead i would suggest use good quality soft hand towels

Jaya , meine Jo sponge wala microfiber Apne dikhaya hai is vedio me , wo kitchen me use Karke Dekha hai ...same prob others microfiber jaisa hi. Oil chorta nehi. Clean Karne k liye me hot water & soap use Kiya tabvi oil Pura Gaya nehi aur chipak Raha tha like plastic. But apki vedio bahut hi helpful hai. Really grt pros & cons .... thanks

Hi Jay, Thank you for being honest about the biodegradability of microfiber cloths. Whenever you use it some very tiny plastic pieces released and become part of our environment mainly our home. Whenever we washed it micro-plastic added into our water system. IIT Bombay research is available on the net and our salt has majorly contaminated with microfiber and the source is our clothes with microfiber.

Hiii Jaya ji.. This video is so good.. The best part about it is you've shown all the cons of the microfiber cloth and your effort may help us to go with the biodegradable cleaning cloths.. And i do use the sponge wipes which you've shown at the end. And they does a tremendous job.. And light wash is enough to clean that wipe and we only have to avoid squeezing the wipe after washing.

That is not fine powdered dust it's fully lint type dust.. even after drying my dress they also attracted by so much lint dust.. Facing the same problem dear. We can't do much about it. I close all my windows and door after 9.30 a.m. it's the time when construction work normally starts. Try once, hope it will solve half of the problem.
