Matt, you will enjoy this: my grandson is 11 yrs old and I bought him his first 20 gauge shotgun and my son and I took him to try it out and he was really attentive and put every shot on the target. This weekend he went on a deer hunt and the boys he was with shot one and he got to see it all up close. Then the boys father taught all 3 of the boys how to gut a deer. My grandson was so happy and loved every minute of it. It made me think of you and how much you love it. Praise the Lord!

With all the talk of Matt’s eyesight changing, I am thinking he needs to ensure his blood pressure is under control. I know he’s at the age where his eyes might be changing anyway, but I know I had issues with my eyesight when my blood pressure was not under control. We care about you and look forward to watching you, and we thank you for your companionship! Be well!!

The first round of holidays with an empty spot at the table are the most difficult. But also healing to remember the last holiday together and to memorialize any special things enjoyed by your folks at that holiday. Incorporate the things they loved or the things that you loved about them on the holiday into family lore and tradition.

You find a top notch Eye Specialist, and take the first appointment they have available. Do ya hear me? You are very enjoyable to watch and God knows how much your family needs you. Then there is that precious grandson soon to make his appearance to Grandpa. I think you may need some tests run on your eyes that are not routine. And if you do, you may possibly need time to heal. Hey Tipper. We’ve had four cousin reunions over the last four years and as all our parents and grandparents are gone to their reward, I got large pieces of poster board and taped pictures of all the aunts and uncles and grandparents etc. many old family photos and displayed them on the picnic tables at the pavilion we were at Oh my gosh EVERYONE just loved seeing them and I told them to take which ones they wanted. It made for a great heart warming day of sharing family stories and fond recollections. ❤

You two are so good together; good with each other and good for each other. On Thanksgiving, I'll be giving thanks that Granny has gotten through her treatments so well and that they're over. May I suggest that when the family is there looking at photos and telling family stories, that you have a camera set up and video it, not for your channel, but to preserve it. It could be precious for the ones who are little ones today, when they are the elders, to be able to hear those voices again. How would love to hear my daddy's voice that I haven't heard for about 60 years! Granny and the stuffing reminded me of the first Christmas my husband & I were together, hosting Christmas dinner. He wanted to have prime rib roast, because that was his family's tradition, but my family always had ham or turkey (depending on how flush we were that year). Finally I said, okay, we could have beef that year and ham the next and just keep alternating, so neither family would lose their tradition. So we had roast beef and I explained to my family that next time we'd have our traditional meal. But my whole family said they wanted roast beef to be our new family tradition. The traitors! 😂😂

Commenting on the pictures, we got out boxes of old pictures and discussed them and wrote names on the back of them. It was so fun and interesting. We were sad when we got to the bottom of the boxes. It took a few years to get through them all.
