Used to clean a few of our soybeans every year for seed. Had a seed cleaner come in from Nebraska with a large motorized mostly wooden "Clipper" seed cleaner that was fast. He would clean enough beans at one set up for 3 of us. Did a good job. Then Monsanto came out with their patented roundup ready soybeans stopping re-using your own seed. Looks cold up north, eh?

Fun to watch someone doing it :) I am just getting a screen going to clean some dockage, size, and try some other little things. Garbs, yellow peas, flax, see what else I want to try running through it. Learning while I go. A cheap $1500 screen that fits two Bench screens, 54"x72". Wow is it slow sizing garbs. Hope this speeds up with flax and peas. Maybe some slot screens instead of round hole would be faster with garbs, also get more of the pods and sticks out. Only another $400 and another trip to Bench just to find out??
