@@vi9763 I dip my scour daddy sponge in the bowl of hot water . Then scrub the sticky areas . The sticky stuff comes off very easily because the water is very hot . Use some thick rubber gloves so the water won’t burn your hands .

Thank you for posting this. I was never taught how to clean, and my parents are elderly so they can't really put in the work to clean things anymore. I just cleaned our fridge and found stuff that expired in 2016. It was worse than the one in this video. That drill brush looks quite handy I'll definitely have to get one :)

I put shelf liners in the door of my refrigerator, that’s where I keep my condiments and sometimes they can have a sticky bottom ( depending on who puts stuff away) that way I don’t have to snap the side rails off as often. So glad you cleaned the top of the refrigerator a lot of people forget that. It gets real dusty up there.

Great job! I really enjoy your channel. The only thing I would add is vacuuming the refrigerant coils underneath (sometimes on the back) of the fridge so the cooling efficiency is better.

You should have seen the green liquid in it. Anyway I shouldn’t have clean it because they couldn’t find the problem until it started working again 4 days later. Happened that the green liquid froze inside somethings. They were asked if their was liquid at the bottom of it and my daughter in law said no. I told her there were a lot when I cleaned it so that was the problem. Learned my lesson to mind my one business in the future…😅oh and both of them don’t have time because they are working! The seals around the edge of the doors are often just pressed in and can be removed, cleaned and put back easily. Also gives an opportunity to clean out the grooves they fit into. I also had a freezer where the seal had split at the top and I was able to turn it so that the split was at the bottom.

Everything should be cleaned from the top down. Then all drips and crumbs that fall will not fall on already cleaned areas. Also, don't be intimidated about pulling a fridge away from the wall. The wheels make easy work of it. When cleaning a fridge, also empty and clean the condensation drip pan underneath, and also use a long handled skinny brush to clean the back and bottom which tend to collect lots of dust. Fridge tops can be greasy. Formula 409 cuts it instantly and completely. Textured fridge handles are cleaned fast and easily with a magic eraser type sponge. Always sweep, soak and mop the floor underneath while the fridge is pulled away from the wall. Lots of dust and dried on spills exist under there.

You saved me some time with that idea and it's logical. Have bins soaking while cleaning. I don't know anything about you so I don't know if you do this for a living or not. You can also use a large plastic storage bin as a makeshift mini tub for things like this. The 18-gallon ones are pretty reasonable size to work with and can fit in the shower. It's especially handy if your shower has a handheld head so you can just spray everything down.
