We just moved into a new rental home. It appears the water spot and ice maker were never used or never cleaned. The ice shoot is completely molded. The ice maker itself is rusted. This cleaning project is beyond me! Any tips? I’m so scared to tackle the mold in the ice shoot. I’ve chosen to avoid it altogether and we don’t use the water/ice from the fridge whatsoever

I unscrew the fan blades and give them a good scrub with dawn, vinegar, and hot water. Do not soak them lol I do this because the elbow grease might tilt the fan too much and cause damage.

I don't know what kind of high smoke cooking oil but , I have tried cooking oil and it always turns out sticky. Use LARD , ITS ABOUT 1.88 AT WALMART,I KEEP IT IN THE FRIDGE ,AND HAVE HAD IT FOR YEARS,BUT I ALSO WRAP THE SKILLET IN HEAVY-DUTY ALUMINUM FOIL AND PUT IT ON A COOKIE SHEET,SO ITS SPATTERING AL OVER MY OVEN ,❤ HAPPY SEASONING Y'ALL
