I think as much as things should never get this bad, especially with children, pets, the elderly and disabled, we need to remember that she took that first huge step. Thank you Barbie and Random Johnny. As a special education teacher I am very concerned about this young person with autism stuck in this home. I understand mom has issues with depression and I hope she continues to reach out for help. Barbie said at the outset the kid with ASD was acting out…. When they are nonverbal and they have insects crawling on them while in their home there is no way for them to express their discomfort, anxiety, and physical issues but to act out. I hate to see a kid taken away from a parent but this needs to happen in cases like this until mom gets it together.
@donnarandall1763Ай бұрын
How do you get rid of the bug infestation
@laurasara7132Ай бұрын
It was the other teenager that was bullied until she ended up hospitalized. Not the nonverbal one. You wanting a child you know only 2 details about, removed from his family doesn’t matter. Thankfully. A perfect stranger whom thinks no further than dirty house and bugs before calling to rip a child from his family, should never have such power. Pure judgment, and zero realism and actual consideration. This is a solvable issue in which the video you’re watching shows HAS already occurred, due to the mother’s initiative. If you ever find yourself with that kind of power, I highly suggest you learn the long term trauma, PTSD, and sheer statical risk that comes with ripping a child’s life apart. Especially where foster care is considered. Is it worth the risk of physical abuse or SA? Are you aware a nonverbal child is 4x more likely to be seriously abused by any parent, which increases dramatically higher with strangers becoming guardians? You’d treat an infection with high doses of radiation because you’re too..short minded I’ll say, to see past the redness and swelling to even consider consequences of the most damaging treatment. You ARE in a position of some power, so unfortunately. I sincerely hope you educate yourself on the processes, consequences, and statistics of child ‘protection’, since you view yourself as fit and prepared to completely rip apart a 98% unknown teenagers present and future.

@JadestonePony10 ай бұрын
As I've heard it from the channel Midwest Magic Cleaning (who did a cool collab with Barbie and another youtuber), basically hoarders have developed a neurological mis-wiring in their minds where they develop an emotional attachment to all their items, including the trash. Most of the time, asking them to throw away anything is basically like asking someone to throw away their dog or their best friend, so you can see why they have such a struggle. Sometimes though, they can get moments of clarity where they realize they can't keep living like that and need to get rid of everything, and that's when someone else can come in and help them chuck all the junk out. The reasons a person may develop a hoarding disorder can vary, but for some, it can carry a component of trauma from living through a period of scarcity. Having more stuff can give a sense of security.

In every home like this the family/person lives on a diet of junk food. I wonder if mental health supporters (psychologists, social workers etc) for these people EVER consider or actively encourage the householder in therapy to get more fresh, whole, plant foods into their diets. There is a massive correlation between eating ultra processed foods and high anxiety levels, brain fog, fatigue, depression, and other detrimental brain activity.

It can also be a food desert issue- many companies won't put grocery store in low income areas, so nutritious food can't be sourced a reasonable distance from home. Bodegas and fast food can sometimes be only option. If someone is already financially or physically challenged, traveling to where better good is available is tough. Not saying that happened here, but low income neighborhoods being underserved with regard to food is a real problem.

beautiful work! I found you through Mack's channel and your collaboration with him. I love what you do. I'm horrified that her special needs child was living in that, and not surprised that her other one was getting bullied. The smell and bugs had to have been going to school with her. I hope the mother is getting support and therapy. Thank you for helping them.

My SRO room never got this bad, but during a serious fight with depression, I had a path from my chair to the door and the other side of the path led to my bed. Everything, except trash went on the floor. My parents lived in filth, and no matter how bad I feel, trash is taken out. I am so glad you are helping this single mother with Special Needs kids.

OVERWHELMING !!! for a kitchen that size, that amount of trash & garbage is just OVERWHELMING !!! You are simply a wonderful angel for what you do for others whether😮 you’re paid or not I hope to heaven or hell or somewhere in between that you are going to receive some sort of compensation. However I just remembered that you mentioned that she is a struggling single mother, so chances are you are doing it out of kindness. You are a beautiful blessing Barbie🙏💝😊👍 🇺🇸

How brave she was to seek help. It must have been very difficult for her to do. How sad for the children to have to suffer at the hands of other children. Don't parents teach their children any compassion anymore. Bless you for helping those that have hit one of life's lows. They will never forget what you did for them. You're an angel.

What strikes me in these cleanings is that once the garbage is gone, there is very little (stuff) remaining. I guess everything that would be personal was destroyed by the bugs and garbage. It is so sad... I also just think, "what a waste!' when I see all the clothing and purchases in piles of garbage and filth. Nothing that would tell me who this person is, what they like, what their hobbies or tastes are... It's as if, the coziness that I put into my space by purchasing linens, curtains, cushions and furniture and art is taken up by garbage. The clean spaces, always seem a bit sad. The garbage, while disgusting, was at least evidence that the person was there.... just a weird observation. Congrats on a job well done none the less. You should be proud that you have made (and continue to make) such a noticeable and direct impact on the lives of these individuals.

Love watching your videos ,your a wonderful person. ❤ But I do have to say I disagree with not setting off fogger bombs in apartment the night before you clean or have the renters set them off before they leave their apartment.because the fog is will get every everywhere ,maybe not inside boxs of crap or deep inside bags of stuff but trust me it will kill a lot of the roaches. .first it's absolutely not fair to the neighbors living next door .when your cleaning and you have thousands of roaches running they will get into other apartments.i agree the two roach sprays I have tried didn't work the bugs kept running omg that freaked me out. So I put rubbing alcohol in spray bottle and shoot them they die in seconds. Also you can put Mr clean lemon cleaner full strength in spray bottle they die very quick .even fabuloso .I live in south Florida and it doesn't matter how much money you have or if you live in a super nice home. Or apartment roaches are apart of this place but no way I letting stay in my home. They also don't like coffee so I buy cheep coffee and put it in a bowl and place that in my oven draw.roaches carry so many types of disease's .and they were crawling on your mask. I hope you change your mind about the foggers. Just think about the other tenants living next to that apartment.well anyway I put more then my two cents in .your still an angel keep up the great work .❤

Where were they? Another amazing job done. Well done both of you, and I hope the family will just go from strength to strength, now you've given them a fresh start.

Wow! Amazing ❤ I kind of wonder if someone needs to come in and teach her children how to clean up after themselves; they may have never learned. Even if their mom returns to being messy, the kids can at least try to keep some of their own stuff nice and tidy. ❤

Holy wow all that garbage in every single room. God bless you for taking on that project Barbie. Overwhelming. I imagine that had to be extremely satisfying just collecting the garbage. Those electrical outlets In the living room when you pull that last bit of trash away from that corner and all of the watches. Ick. I know most people don't like the long video them and appreciate you putting them all together.

i know depression and stuff gets us down. but trash is trash. i can't imagine keeping all this and not putting into trash. my trash goes out every day or it makes my place stink. it was piled up at one time but i got it down. it feels so good to be able to walk across the floor and not over stuff. keeping trash seems to be like hating yourself. like punishing yourself. i hope when this lady gets back, she keeps it clean and picked up.

You should request that all occupants of these home to pick up all the trash (if able bodied) and let them know you will take it from there with the cleaning process. I think this would show they are invested in the cleaning process as much as you are.
