I do this in my cleaning work. Anything I come across, is bagged up/put in a prominent place. Including money. I will leave a note or speak directly to the customer about the finds. There are people in life, who would sooner look after a pet, better than how they treat themselves. I wish this person, increased self-worth. I pray she sees increase value in herself, every day. She knows how to protect pets❤ she can do for herself too❤❤❤

I just keep shaking my head😲. I have known people with a "habit" of putting their change from shopping in the bag,instead of in their purse or wallet. I mean it's not really a mental illness to do that. Is she surprised at herself? That's a lot of change,yeah. I'm glad someone she trusts is taking care of this,really. I do love my “job”! I am thinking of going back to school to become a physical therapist, although it seems like a bit of a late start in my 40s. I’m so grateful for people like you, Barbie! In 2012 I made a career change. I went from hotel management to road construction. 12 years later I still run heavy equipment and I love my job every day. I get to work on different job sites, run different equipment, meet some of the people that work at this company. When the job is done, I look around at the finished product and think, “I helped build that!”. It’s a great feeling, as I’m sure you feel the same after cleaning these houses/apartments. I’m a cleaner in Australia but from the USA. I’m not perfect on cleaning my house but it’s never gotten to this stage. I’ve cleaned these sorts of places before and it’s heartbreaking but I find if I’m able to involve the client with me we have a great time together and they get the motivation and kindness they need.

@@michellesmith6558 I have cleaned in my past working for a property owner. I hated it as some of the tennants would leave the rentals in such a pig sty. It gave me more motivation to keep my house even cleaner than I ever had because I just couldn’t understand how some pepole could live like that without any mental health issues. I once worked with a lady who had worked at a dry cleaners. She said once a week they used to empty the cash register, put all the money in mesh bags, then run it through the washing machine. So even their money was clean. This lady could do the same.

I can understand why there's tossed around so much money from a perspective. She was returning tired from job, tossing the money and went to sleep. She could have no time to even spend it. All this is showing how tired mentally, Spiritually & physically this lovely cleaning lady is ☹ I too had a physically demanding cleaning job where I would just go home & plop on the bed from exhaustion 😩 I too had a family member with hoarding disorder & they would hide their money everywhere in the house out of paranoia. It is sad & frustrating because they didn't have the mental capacity to put that money to good use & properly take care of themselves 😢
