I remember when I started watching mishaco. It took about three videos for me to realize Misha was blind. The delicate way he navigates firearms with his fingers is mesmerizing.

I mean i can ask him if he ever did firearms publications, but his masters is in History and he used to be a history teacher/professor before he was doing any firearms stuff.

I'm just genuinely curious to check out anything he's written. I didn't know he was a historian. I didn't even know his government name before this video's upload. Lecturing about the development of a firearm from your kitchen table is one thing, publishing a book or article complete with citations, footnotes, annotated bibliography, et al. is another. I'd love to read a thesis, article, book, anything. Edit: He's got a masters; he's written at least something.

@@johnqpublic2718 Faraday is one of the most prolific scientists and the man that is solely responsible for most basic laws of electro magnetism such as faraday’s law of induction and more which paved the way for electric motors and generators didn’t even come up with the math for his observations … he had the facts but since he wasn’t academically trained he couldn’t put it into formulas … yet Einstein had a picture hanging on his wall for faraday… papers my friend are ONE way to package information it is very important too however not everything has to be published a reviewed by peers to be valuable and appreciated

we actually talk about that too, he rarely mentions it in his videos, so many find out half way through following him and end up realizing that he has a whole new "outlook" and appreciation for good and poor machining.

Ya missed a lot of q&as and the homescreen video, and a lot of mid video referances then lol. It comes up a fair amount. Never wondered why he taps the table to locate the peice, or sometimes the item isnt fully in frame. The dudes impressive for that alone, how he does his research with text to speech, thats got to take so much longer then scanning a page for relevant information. And yet hes amassed incredible knowledge and detail. The dudes seriously impressive even without the setbacks.

I just love how he can tell you the tiniest little details about guns you have at home yourself, but never even noticed before, by _actually feeling_ the gun. I've "felt" the finger grooves of my M24/52-Č countless times, but, if it wasn't for Misha, I probably still wouldn't have realized that the ones on the lefthand side of the rifle go a bit further forward, like on all vz. 24 rifles. And the Q&A he did with WBP? Priceless, like so many other videos. Thank you, William, for sharing your knowledge!

Misha is outstanding. Saw a Clayco podcast recently where he played a Guns of the world video of a PPSH, & Misha knew a drum magazine's sound, which helped him i.d. the firearm. Thank u for the video!

I learned a lot about him from this extreamly informative video. I started to respect this man even more then before. Thanks! 👏🤝

I've only watched a 3-5 of his videos while recently researching a Pioneer Arms 5.56. I thought the same thing about the glasses but did notice the way he felt of the gun and wondered if he had vision problems. I worked with a guy who drove but was "legally" blind in some aspect, so I was aware of there being a range within the term blind.
