Jericho is a real soft of the earth kind of guy as I love listening to what he shares, super smart dude incredible military record with all those deployments, amazing that he's able to really function at the level he is now which is great, but I sense a certain kind of battle with the depression, that most of us have to varying degrees of course. I have not done 15 deployments or 98% of what he experienced. Was Air Force aircrew did certain harrowing things but nothing compared to what these guys have done in my opinion, hats off, I remember I hauled a few of these guys around Green berets twice over in that part of the world, great people to work with, closer to the tip of the spear, I love all my veteran Bros no matter... The first Gulf war here, then a lot of spec ops stuff and recon got out 98. 🇺🇸🤘

Another fine hangout. I've noticed, over the years, that the people who's entire personality is their military service are the same ones that talk about how great they were during that one high school football game or wrestling match. I call them rearview dwellers.

I’ve been watching your podcast for quite some time now. I appreciate you allowing your guests to open up an express their experiences both while in-service and out. I do want to comment on your particular experience with the Vietnam vet at your local DMV. Myself I have not served. But my father is a Vietnam vet. I can see how this gentleman may have rubbed you the wrong way. This is me speculating mind you. But please consider that his possible actions and reactions may have been driven by how he was treated when he first came home After being “in Country“. As you know, they were not as welcomed home as you were when you came back. Since your father was also in Vietnam. When you witnessed this. I’m assuming everyone was in full support of the military. Or at least 1000 times better than they were when he came home. Again just speculating. He may have seem to be overdoing it. But could you blame him? Maybe he was making up for lost time. You probably heard our country were complete decks to our service members. I do thank you for your service. But please consider your experiences during an after or way different than those who experienced the Vietnam war. At least when it comes to this particular subject.

The descriptors of the typical military vet who never actually saw a round fired in anger are as follows: Let’s fucking EVERYONE know he/she was in, has the American flag tattooed somewhere conspicuous with something along the lines of “cold dead hands”, “come and take it”, or “death before dishonor” also conspicuous, has the hat, has the jacket with the patches, has a tactical vest that likely is too small for their current voluptuous physique, and has the stickers and license plate frame on their POV. You can’t miss them at Applebees on Veterans Day

Andy, I would love to see you have Ryan Zinke and Rob O'neill on your podcast. My guess is that you don't hold them in high regard or you would have had them on your podcast already, especially considering how close they both are too you distance wise. I grew up in Whitefish, MT and idolized Zinke until I saw what he did while part of the Trump administration. Just curious about your thoughts.
