I also noticed that any words start with “ai”, “ou “, a lot of times native speakers add “n” in front of the word, even there is no “n” to link them

The word *mischievous* is also interesting. The standard pronunciation is /MIS chiv us/ Silver Pin /MIS chiv us/, however a lot of native speaks pronounce it like /mis CHEE vee uhs/ green tea / mis CHEE vee us /. The great news is that nowadays both pronunciations are being considered acceptable. In other words, the second pronunciation is okay too.

Thank you very much! +1! Keenyn, just a tiny suggestion, - I read aloud sample phrases after you and put them down, so could you, please, leave the text of the phrase on the screen half a second longer, so that I can stop the video with the text on the screen after you pronounced it. Thank you again.

Hi there! I really enjoyed your video on common mispronunciations. It’s fascinating how even native speakers can get tripped up on certain words. I have a question about the word ‘epitome’ which you mentioned at [00:01:12]. Could you explain why the stress is placed on the second syllable? Is it related to the word’s Greek origins, perhaps? Thanks for helping us speak more clearly! 😊📚

Mam, please give a rule of American fast speaking tricky. Sometime they drop their word. So please share of it. Because a lot of my calls are on American fluency. They all use American fluency like natives during my online interview, so it is difficult to understand them. So please share the rules for this so that I can crack my interview.

Review your definitions because they are not accurate. Your pronunciation is perfect but remember that pronunciation is related to the history of the language and the etymology of the words( like there is a reason to all pronunciations. Example « facade is french and it means « front » and is actually written façade - it’s like et coetera which comes from latin, pseudonym as well , Greek root pseudo ..)
@AK-yi3uv

It's interesting how natives make loads of mistakes in english but their mistakes are of a different kind than those of non-natives. I noticed they often write things the way they hear them instead of how they're supposed to write them e.g. 'know' becomes 'no, 'two' becomes 'to' or 'too', 'their' becomes 'there' etc. I also cringe every time I hear 'we was' or 'you was' from adult, seemingly educated people.
