Clearing 1m of snow with a 30 year old Fiat 45-66 DT tractor

Northern Sweden in Feb 2021. Around 1m (3,5 feet) of snow on the ground. It's time to clear an old farm from snow using a 30 year old Fiat 45-66 DT 4wd tractor with 45bhp 3-cyl engine. Everything is stock on the tractor, including the hard and slippery tires. Is it up to the job or not?

Oh man what a situation to wake up to. The little Fiat did amazing though! And looks to be in very nice condition. I'm impressed with the speed of the hydraulics, looks much faster than on my 90-90.

It's in really mint condition, only about 550h!

Love the Fiats I had a new Fiat 680 DT in 83 with a new Quicke loader was brilliant little tractor my first 4WD tractor it's amazing what a difference 4WD makes 👌💨💨💨.

Good tractor! I use to drive a 55.66, very similar to this one. Nowadays tractor becomes too much full of automatic devices, everywhere touchscreen monitor.. Ужас какой

I totally agree with You about modern tractors. This little tractor is actually fun to drive. And it’s so simple and robust built.

@@65northphoto Agree. Fun, simple to use, low fuel consumption. New tractors I even do not pay attention to them. Too much electronics.. Automatic gear box, automomatic air condition, everywhere monitors. I do not need to know if the engine rev is 2134 rpm, or PTO 467 rpm, or water temperature 78°C.. I simply need to see (for eg) 2.200 rpm, PTO around 540 rpm, water temperature OK.

Not inside the Fiat, it's heated just like a car :)
