Thanks bud. Looks like that's my project today. Been dreading it. I have a cover, but, change in weather will dissolve the pellets. Best thing to do is empty the hopper out that back door when your about done cooking. Then just let it run till it's out and empty. Thanks again. Your wife better not watch, she's gunna whoop your ass for that being on that nice counter.

I am wondering if the water pan adds moisture or condensation that drips down to the auger and sets there afterwards. I wonder if leaving it open but still under cover would help. Wish I had one to try out! Keep on cooking!

Thank you so much. I was able to fix my Pit Boss with this video. I thought I needed to buy a whole new one. I was able to fix mine with simple tools and it works like a champ now. Question -- How were you able to fix this yours utilizing the kitchen table? My wife would kill me if I did this fixing in the kitchen table.

Thanks Ron. I don't think I would have taken it into the house lol. I think the moral of this story I'm not going to fill or leave pellets in the the hopper. They get wet and that's what clogs up the hopper. Great video. It was very helpful

Look in the bottom again, they aren’t installing the lower screws in the hopper, moisture collects there and starts clogging it. Pitboss should have lawsuit filled against them along with Academy for not assembling the unit completely. I fought and fought same issue until I found missing screws and realized this is where problem started. Shame on Pitboss for poor quality control.
