Property Manager Elad has been asked to clear out a filthy Edwardian home that has been abandoned and left in a terrible state… Time to call in the extreme cleaners!
This derelict house in Reading has furniture and junk piled up in every room, reeks of urine and has a bad rat infestation. The guys even have to deal with vehicles blocking access whilst they search the property looking for any documents or pieces of information that may be valuable to the owner of the family.
What else will they uncover?

I don't have any money to leave my daughters when I die, and any possessions will be of sentimental value only. I do clean my place weekly and try to keep things in order so that I can at least spare them or anyone else the sort of ordeal I see in these videos. BTW, if the family wanted the elderly man's papers so badly, then why didn't they take it upon themselves to at least visit him and make sure that he was living in decent conditions to begin with?
@chloewilks3845
@chloewilks3845 3 жыл бұрын
Miriam Bucholtz They will cherish the sentimental things. But yes exactly my thought. We don’t know the circumstances but it just seems as though this family are just interested in the money that they could potentially have after. Not a suitable place for anybody, let alone an older chap.

God bless you and your family. You are doing the right thing and money matters little in the face of a mother's legacy. I can't imagine the old man's living ordeal, I see it all the time in Western societies. It can also stem from poor parenting and lack of love and family attachment which was passed on to his kids who in turn end up not bothered about their old parents and taking care of them. Anyway I could be wrong. It is one of the biggest fears as a parent; dissociated, unattached, uncaring children.
@miriambucholtz9315
@miriambucholtz9315 3 жыл бұрын
@@shembeliever6095 Sometimes, especially when those times are like the ones in which we now live, children can get caught up in their own families and stresses. Also, I raised them to be independent, so at least some of it is on me. I can't understand the ones who completely abandon their parents unless some horrible abuse happened.
@fawnieee
@fawnieee 3 жыл бұрын
For all you know that man could have been absolutely abhorrent towards them. Children owe their parents nothing if their parents have been ab uiv towards them. The thing with hoarding, just like with any other mental illness, is the person has to WANT to change and get better. You can clean up a house a million times but if the hoarder doesn't want to work with a therapist to actively understand why they do what they do and learn ways to manage their illness, the house is going to go right back to the way it was before

All this hoarding and mess has increased since the councils only empty the bins once a fortnight! Once it gets out of control people stop giving a damn, they just cant manage to get back on top of things.

It’s every other week here in Leicester too and it can be a nightmare at times, I’ve had to burn paper/card recycling but there’s no way to get rid of food waste, feminine hygiene products and stuff like that without making a special trip to the tip each time the bag is full. It’s gross but doable if you have transport but where are you supposed to keep it otherwise because once you get behind it quickly builds up? If you’re able to put food scraps in a compost bin that’s great but not everything can go in one and you run the risk of a rodent infestation Having feminine hygiene products hanging around is bad enough, I’m just thankful I don’t have a baby or toddler who wears nappies!

TheFreshSpam in London its once a fortnight for all councils. People just fly tip or if they’re sneaky like me carry their overflow to the big bins next to flats

It is both shocking and scary to see a house left in utter filth and disrepair. One has to wonder if the occupants moved back to the Stone Age. Ugh.
