I just love this series! What i appreciate, Beth, is your spark to do a project, and to film a project that is still in it's infancy. This is where many of us run, rather like a day late and a dollar short, and do much then, needing to be accomplished, but it is inspirational to me to see you willing to tackle this big work, because i have garden path that needs to be completely redone, and it brings a sigh to think of all the work before us, but it's got to be done if we want the garden to be always improving and moving forward, so you're willingness to show the dust and the mud makes me feel like I'm not the only one with such a task.

Wow! After watching this video I long for Spring. Beth! What a wonderful space. I really am enjoying this transformation. Yes it would be nice to have everything instantly finished, but the journey will be missed. It was so nice to see the dirt shoveled away to find a brick pathway. I do enjoy watching you and Reilly doing flower arrangements, but this project is filling something deep in my soul. Fortunately for me the property is large and the reformation is going to take a while. 😊 Also it's nice to see your family working together. Nice to see the love! Thank you for the video. Have a wonderful week. And thank you for showing the ducks and hens! ❤

when you work in the garden, it's a domino effect! the jobs keep daisy chaining until the season is done. Great teamwork!

It’s looking great. I bet it feels great to find the pathways underneath the growth and dirt. It’s amazing to think in that tiny space what must have been achieved.

Beth, I really love watching your renovation. My husband and I acquired his parent's farmhouse, and there are so many projects there to do, looking forward to some motivation, as you know, sometimes you get tired just looking at all the tasks ahead!

Looking great. For the small beds in front of the greenhouse, what about some sweet peas or zinnias?

I heard a person say, nature bends to the wild. The cultivated garden is work proven.

Do you have to worry about snakes at all? Excited to see what happens with the island.

Love this, yes, always a lot to do and Internet does make me think I can do it in a click of mouse. You're right, not real life. I heard one lady say about her garden project, "How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time" AFTER I watch the rest of your video, think I'll go out and take a bite out of "my elephant" 😏 Good luck! Keep the faith -S

Springflowering are pruned right after flowering or it will not regrow and bloom the following year, fall floweringclematis is pruned to the ground I believe….need to double check that🇳🇴🇳🇴🇳🇴

There are three types pruning types for clematis. Types, one and two do require pruning and cannot be cut all the way back to the ground. Type three clematis can be cut down, leaving 2 to 3 inches of the stem, and they will completely regrow again from the ground up the following spring. Most clematis pruning types can be found on the tag that comes with them, if you know the name of the clematis, you can google it and find out if it’s a type one, two, or three. I work at a garden center, and when I took over lead perennial production pruning types for the clematis was one of the things I had to learn.

Imagine how beautiful it will soon be. Spring will be here. I think lettuce is a perfect choice. I was rooting for sweet peas tho! I’m on a kick…

Am i wrong? It looked like there is a big gap at the bottom of the chicken coup fence. Wouldn't predators get in? What a great project to watch.

Oregon near Mcminnville. Or Salem to the east. I forget their zone but it's generally pretty mild, coastal type weather
