I love this acrylic stash down series! I think it would be interesting to make a dk acrylic pair of socks to see how they feel! 😀

how about using the acrylic yarn for accessories for your home? Maybe an afghan or lap blanket with coordinating pillows?? Or his and hers afghans?? Since you didn’t use your advents for accessories, maybe the acrylic yarn is a good substitute?!

I knit the Eva cardigan by Petite Knit in Red Heart yarn! It makes me laugh just thinking she'd be horrified 😂

Hahahaha that’s hilarious 😂 that’s exactly how I felt knitting “fancy” knitting patterns haha all the designers being horrified of the yarn being used 😂 so funny

Okay that’s pretty funny. I never thought about that (probably because I’ve been pretty recently graduating from acrylic)

How many rows in between increases?

what about crocheted things for the house, like pillows?

You didn't seem to use any row counters? I started off, trying to make the shawl, but messed up so many times that I switched over to the scarf, and even though though I'm using roll counters, I still messed up! And I AM using row counters! (I forget to advance). Your scarf looks so perfect, the increases exactly right, do you have any tips for me to remember, which row I increase on and not to lose track of things? I am not exaggerating to tell you that I have restarted at least 30 times.

Ohh I’m so sorry that it keeps getting messed up!! What I do is I put in a stitch marker in the stitch when I do an increase, and count my rows after that. So then once you’re at the 6th row after the stitch marker again you know you’ll have to do an increase again. Garter stitch makes it a little harder to read the amount of rows but you could count garter bumps instead and figure out how many garter bumps you need to have between your increases. Hope that helps!!!!

Oh and then I move the stitch marker after having done a new increase!
@raeleohana87972 ай бұрын
@@maanknitwear yes! That is helpful, thank you. Agree that I do also need to learn how to count garter bumps. Because that is always very hard for me; I come up against this issue often. So I need to speak to my teacher and address it once and for all. If she can do it, then I can learn to do it!

Thanks for the videos, I've been enjoying your channel! I'd really appreciate a flash warning, if that's something you'd consider doing in future. I had to scroll away around the 8 minute mark because of the flashes - I have chronic migraines, and flashes hurt. Good job de-stashing - I think I bought twice as much yarn as I knitted last year, I need to get a handle on that 🙃

Thank you for sharing that with me, I had no idea! I’ll definitely will be mindful of that in the future 🩷 I’m sorry it was hurtful for you this time! Thank you! It feels good to get use out of the yarn I’ve bought so long ago 😊
