I have a suggestion. It’s super easy to use The Easy Alternator method to alternate skeins and therefore blend the yarns. Prof Purl has a tutorial on her KZbin channel. It’s completely invisible and super easy! Best of luck with whatever you decide. - Pamela

Love the strawberry hat! I’m definitely going to have to make one for my best friend’s daughter. And I feel like if you’re questioning it, you’re trying to convince yourself you’ll like it. If you have any doubts I’d frog! You can always use the yarn for a different project with a more color block feel.

Hi, Melissa, The strawberry beanie is adorable__gotta make one for myself since I love strawberries! 😛 Your sweater looks nice and cozy, Sophie shawl looks good, too! I love that orange yarn, even though that color doesn't look great on me. Re: the Poppy Tee, depending on which skein you started with, I would just 'grade' the yarns in that order. Sometimes it's hard to tell the actual shades on device screens(on my tablet it doesn't look too off, so)__I would just knit a few rows in a fade fashion when adding each successive skein. The fabric is beautiful__I would hate to frog it over such a slight shade difference, make it work in your favor. 💖🙌😺

It’s making a beautiful fabric. Too bad about the colour variation though, it seems a lot. Have you reached out to Espace Tricot for advice? I agree with alternating skeins, though a bit challenging since you are already carrying 2 elements, adding another would require more patience, but would solve the issue. I’d also plan the skeins so that the darkest are at the bottom of the garment. I’m doing the same right now.

Try irish lever knitting. You can KZbin the term. Stephanie McPhee comes up. This style knitting saved my wrists. Re ribbing try Norwegian purl method.

What did you do to make the Sophie Scarf bigger than the pattern? I like the one you made.

This is the Sophie Shawl pattern, which is different than the Sophie Scarf. I can't give the exact pattern away, but if you take the Sophie Scarf pattern and increase every 7 or 8 rows, you will get something very similar.

I unfortunately vote for frogging your Poppy... If the color blocking is bothering you while you're knitting it, I don't think you'll be any happier with it as an FO. The fabric is really beautiful though!

I would contact Espace Tricot and express your concerns. I think they should let you return them postage paid and issue you a refund or exchange for a diffenent yarn. Each skein is a completely different blue. How could anyone be expected to knit them all in one garment and not have the garment look off?
