love reclaiming trails like that. Can't imagine how long that would take by hand to clear some of that thick stuff. Nice work. That would be so much fun to be able to ride on trails again for the first time after being closed off.

I smiled at you clearing off the leaves from the air intake. I t reminded me of, when , several years ago I was using my lawn tractor on a blowy dry day suddenly no power! lifted the bonnet (sorry hood) found a compressed layer of leaves and dry grass packed over the intake. Ran a lot better when cleared!! Nice trails and work. Glad the owner was stoked over the result.

Jump start trick. Hook the positive to the battery from the booster pack and ground to the frame. You now send all the booster pack juice to the starter not into a weak or dead battery.

we a littel over 500 acres worth of trails. lots of work each year keeping them open. love walking them.

The biggest issue as you saw is keeping the branches cut back. Can't justify a articulating cuter for the loader. I just do it in sections every other year.

Awesome job of clearing those trails with nothing getting broken on the dozer or you Captain. I imagine a couple of those ditch/creeks could use some pip with dirt on them to keep down the washouts would be a good idea but that's up to the property owner. Thanks for the Sunday entertainment.

It's interesting to see forest clearing work without a protective cage. One can most likely get away with it for years, but a rogue tree can spring pole or act like a spear. Be careful out there.

When i did towing and road service we had jumper cables made from heavy duty welding cable and a quick connect on the truck so we could jump start anything within 30’ of our truck. It seems to me that might be a good idea on the big green truck!

All those limbs and sticks that just miss your face when driving the trails and when you are pushing into trees, those will make a good day end bad. You don’t want to be a pirate like me!
