Pretty flush stump but that's what you want on the tree. Flush.
@hoskinslogging98583 жыл бұрын
We get them flush most of the time. We don’t run around with a 35 inch bar because we don’t need it. So we usually cut from both sides of the tree and try to match the cuts

A winch rope should not be used as a tow rope. Doing that will drastically shorten the life of the rope! Regardless of how convenient it may appear to be.
@danielmoulton4117 Жыл бұрын
In the logging industry a winch cable is a normal wear item, as opposed to 4 wheeling and recovery usage that would have you believe they're made by unsullied virgins out of fairy hair and unicorn tail manes.

Holding up good. Bolts fell out of my muffler the other day. Last my gasket. Took one off an old 066 and it fit right in there. Bolts were just loose

Nothing worse than finding a new logging road. You know the hillside is about to be plundered. Money is more important than nature, sad.
@jimharvard2 жыл бұрын
Mr. Whitacre, do you know that "thinning" a forest area actually helps the area grow stronger and taller trees? if you are talking about "clear cutting" where a company goes in and cuts down EVERYTHING in a given space, well, yes, that kind of "forestry" can be destructive. but "selective cutting" can keep forests healthy. and i do hope you understand that a properly cut area of trees WILL allow new trees to GROW BACK!
