I feel your pain on the thumb. My Takeuchi 260 has a TAG thumb and it lacks much in my opinion, and that's the only one that matters.

@@smithworx1091 same with mine! I'm planning on looking for some aftermarket, since cat doesn't have progressive link for this machines.. thumb is pretty much the only thing that disappointed me! And I'd love it to be as smooth as my 310, because 306 is moving rough... like it's your 2nd day operating. Still happy overall!

Nice work, looked like it handled the concrete slab well. I am looking into a 306 now as I am moving towards excavation full time. Did you use CAT financial and take advantage of their 0%? If so how was the process of the lending? Thanks!

Yes I financed through Cat. I had no issues. Told them what I wanted and signed the paper. It was to easy to get in that much debt 🤣
