The more water you can splash up to get into your air box the better your Jeep will run. Before I go out, I always fill up a bucket of water to just dump in my air box about half way through my run, helps out tremendously! GET THAT WATER IN THERE!!!!

For real.. i tried it out and now my jeep has a factory water cooled engine. It can never overheat now….

It is. In the summer. Nobody's crossing it in winter except on foot.

Snowblower not an option as in Europe ?
@jeepevans94915 жыл бұрын
Snowblowers are used frequently to clear the highways in this region, but I have not seen them used to clear the higher shelf roads on the Jeep roads. Possibly due to the packed ice that the snow becomes by mid summer when they are able to clear it??
@jdofmemi4 жыл бұрын
Just one word: Rocks The road is rock, and uneven, with random boulders laying in it under the snow. Hit one with the blower, and the cost of the repair may well be more than that dozer costs. Snowblowers work good, on the paved road, not here
@simplyamazing8804 жыл бұрын
So why are people driving their automobiles through the creek when they have a fine bridge right there?
@jeepevans94914 жыл бұрын
Same reason we were trying to take a rocky shelf road over a mountain to Telluride when there is a perfectly good paved road that goes around the mountain.

Bruh, the towns around those mountains make money hand over fist when the Jeep and Toyota groups fill up the towns in the summer months to wheel on those old mining trails. They may not be paved, but they are still public roadways, and the off-road community brings a boatload of money to small towns around the San Juan Mountains in the non-ski months to drive on the miles of trails through those mountains.
