I'm personally a really big fan of the "crits make you dodge ranged attacks for 1 second" trait, with this build, it makes you basically immune to ranged damage, which on higher levels is such a blessing. Just keep hitting crits (which your staff attacks to ALL the time) and you will be able to stay alive so much more. I trade in the "20% damage based on peril" perk for it, honestly the damage is already so good, the survivability is so good.

Gonna definitely try this build out when I get home, I might swap brain burst for smite though. But that’s just because I like lighting :)

-40% peril will probably get nerfed considering it's fatshark. Let's enjoy it while we can.

Yeah but toughness takes a hit and it's pretty damn noticeable. Psyker is already frail enough, -30% toughness regen is silly.

​@@Redditor6079 instead of the perk toughness boost on curios, I've been throwing toughness Regen on them and it definitely helps counter the frailty. 30% loss is a lot, and the curios would be stronger without it. But, the peril reduction just feels too good to pass on right now.

My first Psyker build was similar to this but the trauma staff . . . err void blast . . . trauma sounds better. The light spam's less fierce but quick charge rending explosion spam's fun.

I literally count out loud so i don’t explode from assails, the trick is having them doing their little jobs while you laser other stuff

Sick build, being able to shoot and vent peril almost never. Regarding playstyle I notice you use left click much more than right click. Is it because the double shot only applies with left click ?

Correct, i used to play this build only right clicking, and now surge makes left click hit so hard it’s silly

Bit random but I got a recon lasgun with 60 in damage and 80-76 in every stat other than damage. It’s on my vet but I kinda wanna try going for a similar roll on Psyker. Is damage a dump stat on lasgun builds for psyker also?

I never considered damage a dumpstat. I mean, you need it to destroy enemies.
