I bought Darktide few days after release, but for multiple reasons I just got into the game with the Unlocked & Loaded update and oh damn I`m having a blast. I already loved Vermintide 2 after I got a hold on the high skill ceiling and your channel is helping me out a ton to get a grip on build creation in Darktide. My jaw was dropping when I saw you just have 1640 subscribers, because your content is top notch and obviously highly underrated. I´m glad you´re covering the game the way you do. Thank you!

Love my 80 mobility recon lasgun. Collateral is arguably the dump stat for recon lasguns. It gives no damage, only stagger.

You might be right, ill have to test if it actually affects the stagger much. Though i don’t really use the lasgun as my mobility much

Wouldn’t stability be a dump stat, the thing doesn’t move at all. My recon las gun has minimum stability and it’s perfectly accurate.

​​@@MisterEtidewas it stated that empowering weapons could slightly change the stats as you empower the weapon? For example i had a recon lasgun that said the potential was 80% but when fully empowered it only reached 79%. Also thank you for the lasgun build, i was the one bothering you about the eviscerator on the other video and i actually wanted to ask about this weapon too, although this is for veteran i will try some of the stuff with the zealot

Swapping the keystone's modifier for the weakspot damage talent could be good, heck I haven't ran a keystone on vet for ages! I do use exec and I get ludicrous score results using a graia of all things with shredders. So running just the keystone by itself is still giving you what 20% extra damage on the tagged target from max stacks with addition of you gaining that extra weakspot damage which as we know; Weakspot damage is a multiplier.

It is a nice multiplier, however, only for direct damage. So much of our damage is DoT based for those larger targets, so i go with the keystone augment. But to your point there are just a lot of slight tweaks you could run to your preference- veterans are spoiled for good talent choices

I have my zealot in a good place but my vet who was good then went to crap after the new talent tree was dropped. Ive made vet better but hes still weak. This looks awesome. Gotta try it tonight. Btw I too enjoy music with gaming, so much so that I made 10 or 15 gmvs (gaming music videos) using some really good non copyrighted rock. Music & gaming goes togather like peas & carrots lol.

Idk i think this build would be amazing, the tagging extra damage is great for them and shout is very nice to have to keep the team alive in gas Just remember bosses take reduced ranged damage when shields are up, so get your burns on them then get to stabbin

Yea suppression immune doesn't matter its just worse than the fre damage

So I tried this build on a whim sense i never play knife or lasgun. First mission I did was Rolling Steele and got Untouchable. idk if it was just luck or I've been missing out on weapons I'm a natural at. but still this was one fun build

From my testing dumdum is just better than infernus against anything that is not a boss. It's like by the time you reach max infernus stacks, most things would have already died a while ago from the extra dum dum damage instead

Dum dum only affects close range damage, so it does nothing past 12.5m. Burns do the work of finishing enemies for you, conserving ammo and saving you time

i use a different variation of this build, i got the shredder grenade and survivalist and use weapon specialist instead of focus target most other nodes are really similiar have you tried these combos already?

Wait Infernus on that melta-laser-spitter ie 20 shots/second Enemie dies quickly of laser not burns? I'm really curious and no expert here

It actually does 16.67 shots per second at 60 damage so 1000 dps, but that means it would take 45 seconds to kill a boss. The real damage comes from the burn stacks, which do lots of damage. Youll notice that for most elites and specials i can stop shooting them when they still have a good amount of hp left and rely on the burn to finish them.

You dont want to be auto tagging with the middle tree, you need to save your stacks for the important targets. If you spam it, youll end up just putting one stack of +4% damage on enemies because you never let it build up to 5+ stacks

The one I’m using in the vid, mk VId. Fastest rate of fire and ammo supply, which translates to more burn stacks applied in the same time frame, and more ammo to do it with.

Only improves damage to crushers, and even then it requires us to melee much more than we want to get the buff for a few seconds. +2 stam can save your life, we have krak if crushers are really coming for us

I think Darktide's class builds have become overpowered for the current Auric difficulties. And it's getting kinda boring clearing everything with such ease when every mission is just a repeat. The game needs higher difficulties and ofc new missions. I had an Ogryn yesterday in a game who left and said it was so boring cause i was clearing everything with overpowered dueling sword zealot lmao

Dueling sword isn't op everything is, it's weaker than knife. Player power could be cut by 20% and the game would still be easy
