Clearing TOA with Pistol Characters Only in wuthering waves

Aalto main here. If you dont want to bother making him deal damage (he's an insane DPS at s3+), you can just run him full HP to maximize his clone's HP. This should trivialize every boss in the entire game, as they can't help but attack it. The problem with this is, the only proper ranged dpses in the whole game are Chixia and Aalto himself, and if you're right next to the boss, it doesn't matter if it's attacking the Aalto clone, most of them have enough AOE to just hit you anyways. Once we have a proper 5 star gun character, Aalto will be able to make sure they never need to dodge enemy attacks, ever, in exchange for just swapping into him every few seconds and using skill (if you have s1, the clone has 100% uptime).

Is aalto a better dps after s3+ than chixia?

@miskii_ I'm not sure. They seem pretty similar, but Chixia has a crazy 5 star support/dps in Changli that synergyzes with her perfectly, while Aalto's best support is still Sanhua. They're both more than good enough to clear endgame, especially at s6. Aalto is way more fun, though >:)

That was fun to watch 🤣 good job even tho my Aalto kept getting rosted 🤣 I’m an Aalto main, he was the first character that reached max lvl and max talent even tho i had at s1 for most of my time 😁 he’s fun to play i use him as main DPS and he’s clearing everything faster than my other teams 😁

I believe if you shoot through Aalto’s resonance liberation mist gate with any pistol character it still gives his buff! Hopefully a 5 star gun user soon will be able to use it, especially if it is viable to use heavy attack because it gives higher crit at higher sequences
