Clearing up 5.1 / 7.1 AVR/Nuendo channel confusion

There were some surprising twists in mapping the outputs of my Atmos enabled audio-video receiver to inputs in Steinberg Cubase / Nuendo, as well as tricks for moving from a 5.1.4 to 7.1.4 speaker array.

Just found your channel on my recommendation list, saw you cheaper atmos set up video. Really good. I am working on a feature film and in pre production at the moment. So I have just maxxed out my PC memory upgraded to a RTX4070 TI graphics card and the next upgrade will be to 5.1 surround, as we will be having a closed premier at a local independent cinema for cast and crew plus families, before entering it into festivals. So mixing and finishing in DCP with multichannel surround is a must. But, what a nightmare. So thanks again, there are other channels too that are of help as well.
