Thank you. We're finishing installing our 7.1.4 PMC monitor Dolby Atmos rig in 2 weeks when the rest of the monitors arrive from PMC. Its incredibly expensive so there's not a large enough market out there for people to make quality videos about learning the workflow for an Atmos studio rig. So thank you.

Thanks for all your videos they are a great source of info.. I have just moved into Dolby Atmos and now have Nuendo 12 but i am still trying to get to grips with manual setup of Dolby Atmos renderer. Would be great if you did a video showing how to a basic setup of 7.1.4 rather than just using the Setup wizard.. Just trying to get a grip of how you would setup manual ... I think Cubase 12 would be the same setup. Many Thanks

Thanks for the video. What Interface are you using for Dolby Atmos?

You can enable the 'Link Panners' option in a channel with the send on it, that way it will pan correctly into the group / reverb channel so it's not just coming into the front channel :)

Best would be to setup every single channel and calc the distance from every channel to the other channels. Put the time in ms to a delay/reverb as send to every single channel. So you have the physical measures to route every single channel without unwanted overspeaking. As you puzzle the channels together in stereo parts you could do it in mono parts as well and be physical correct.

If you just make the 7.1.4 Fx/Group channel into 7.1.4 object? Doesn't it just work like if it was 7.1.4 bed?
