Savannah I use to have bad days when I was learning and said to my driving instructor maybe I am not cut out for driving . I have now been driving for 2 years and passed my test first time with 3 minors. Never give up and get there at your own pace. Aman is an amazing instructor and she will get you to the point where you are test ready and you will also know when you reach that point. Keep it up well done savannah you knew where you went wrong and that means you are progressing xxx

Savannah, don't worry! im 16 and im currently learning to drive, I have bad driving days all the time where I don't feel confident or I feel ive done something completely wrong even though it was a small mistake that many drivers make all the time. I alway go back and try not to make that mistake again. Driving is a process and it takes time, so give it the time and im sure you'll become an amazing driver, especially since you've got Aman as your instructor! The more you drive, the more confidence and comfort you gain, even if that means you have a couple of rough days along the way!

I can't say I agree from about 14:58. Steering without moving puts stress on all the steering components, but most importantly, will wear flats on the tyres.

Hi Savannah, im 19 and my first ever lesson was on my 17th birthday, i still have bad days as i have had a lot of bad things happen in my driving, had a really horrible first instructor who knocked my confidence and just cared about people who could pass, so he dropped me. My instructor now is amazing, but is very busy, so with college and new puppy, its a struggle to have lessons, but now i just want to pass. So dont dwel on things as you are gonna get better and have gotten better.

And don't let those buses bully you! 😊 I also want to thank you, Aman, for being helpful to me as I am now having to TEACH driving. My daughter just turned 16 and got her learner's licence the other day. We've done 3 hours over the past 3 days and I find I know what to show her and how to explain things thanks to your expert tuition. It's a bit easier for her as we have an auto, but it's a big car (LandCruiser). I'll let you know how she progresses.

Savannah, you're doing great, yes you're going to make mistakes. You need to get control of the car, "oy you'll do what I tell you" once that's embedded, You'll gain the confidence to tackle those tricky situations, you had some pretty anti social drivers today unfortunately they're out there. Remember I was a Learner and oh my god the mess I used to make of everything! You'll get there, keep up the good work.

One observation I would make is to try to get used to putting your left foot back on the floor between gear changes. Hovering as you are is tiring in the long term and actually resting your foot on the clutch pedal is mechanically bad for the clutch and is an expensive repair when you own your own car in the future.

Not bad for a learner. Yes mistakes were made but nothing you wouldn't expect a learner driver to make. There are people who do drive that probably shouldn't be aka that bus driver for starters. That's no reason to doubt yourself. Making mistakes isn't a sign your not meant to drive. It's part of the driving experience.
@v31.485 ай бұрын
I don’t agree. If you look ahead you can see the bus waiting. It saw a gap and took it. The bus is twice as big as you, give it some space. You can’t wait for the whole world.

Question: I've noticed that the driver does a 6 point check before indicating and then another 6 point check. Is this how it should be OR can we indicate first and then do a 6 point check before moving out. My reasoning is, that indication would tell a car on the road that we intend to move in - and that is an indication you can provider regardless of whether there is a car behind or in front of you. Please correct me if I am wrong.

@ClearviewDriving hey the last on was spot on even I wouldn't do it any better and I've got 30 years practice on it. Other than just working on her hand speed which will happen naturally as she gains experience. Slightly cheating when practicing when she pulls out to have another practice try to take a mental note of how the car comes out. Next time I want to see her parking in a single space that you need to shimmy forward to get in.
