Home made modifications on those cars makes me smile, I grew up in North Carolina in Mooresville the home of NasCar and that is EXACTLY how NasCar got it's start. a bunch of Moonshiners who made home made modifications to their stock cars and engines which grew into legit races and the monster it is now. Sometimes it is a matter of necessity, you can't always rely on a company out there making a modded part for your project car.

George is a legend. You should have taken the trophy. By far the best burnout. Let the crowd decide the winner.
@tstuff12133 жыл бұрын
I would like to start off by saying George did an EPIC burnout and sended it harder than anyone. But the judging criteria is what killed him in the end. They want to see full use of the pad which George did and you can get rowdy and hit the wall and stuff which George DEFINETELY did. But one of the other criteria is like at Summernats constant smoke where the tires are turning and smoking is flying which he was doing up until 5:26 then something went wrong and the smoke stopped then he had to restart then he hit the wall shortly after prematurely ending his run. Also a big part of it is popping the tires that shows full completion of the burnout unfortunately thanks to hitting the wall and breaking the truck he had to stop before he could pop both tires as you can see at 10:27 there is still an intact tire there and the other side thanks to the rim being destroyed fell off before it could be popped. So based on judging criteria he lost but he is definitely the peoples champ. Unfortunately they can't have the crowd decide the winner because there can be WAY to much biased, its easy to pick someone you like to win even though they weren't the best which is why they have unbiased judges, some people may have just shown up to the event to see this one person such as Brent from PFI speed so they would obviously pick them to win because they don't care about anyone else. For example Im not sure you have ever watched formula drift but people in the live feed rarely base there decisions on who will win based on driving criteria and more on who the driver is or what car they are driving which is why they have judges. So its just more fair and less biased to have judges decide also its more professional and is like Summernats which is really what they are trying to get the burnout game in America up to that level.
@orion44803 жыл бұрын
@@tstuff1213 Brah. Consider getting a job @ Reader's Digest. As for the judging being non-biased. Disagree. El Chromeno (sp) shouldn't have won....he's Mitchell's bud.
@tstuff12133 жыл бұрын
@@orion4480 As far as I know Cleetus is not a judge nor is anyone competing in the burnout contests. Plus cleetus was way too busy announcing and doing massive burnouts in neighbor and warbird and making the event happen to do the judging. So it wasn't up to him probably for this reason everyone thinking he is biased. Also every single person in the burnout rivals event is cleetus's friend. I.E George, Brent, ViceGrip garage, Vargas brothers, Kevin from KSR. So its not because they are friends he won. Also I have no idea what you mean about the whole readers digest thing. And I am by no means saying George did a bad burnout but based on the judging criteria it was not the best.
