Happy I got this on sale. Love the color but most importantly the safety features. Easy to install. Comfortable for my child. Double cup holder is a plus! I will always get this car seat for my kids & it’s nice watching them grow with it since it’s 4 in 1.

If you’re trying to switch from front-racing to rear-facing, flip the seat upside down and look for the word PULL - pull that large black handle and you’ll be able to flip over the very bottom chunky base piece which will then put the seat into a steeper recline position for the rear-facing position. Hope that helps.

This definitely is NOT the car seat to buy if you plan on removing it often. It is VERY heavy. Other than that, I have only great things to say about it. I am so thankful for these videos. Thanks a bunch!

You are very welcome Darlene, thank you so much for watching. We are so happy to hear they are helpful. You are spot on. This car seat is very heavy but that has everything to do with the materials it is made out of. Because it uses steel its just a solid safe car seat.

Thanks for the great videos! Great video quality and content. Quick question: when you have the option to use the seatbelt or the LATCH, which would be a better option to use to secure the car seat?
@TheBabyCubby7 жыл бұрын
We are so glad you have enjoyed them! Seat belt is always more secure as long as its installed correctly, however the most secure is going to be the recommended latch and seat belt combination.
@dwoychick6 жыл бұрын
I think there needs to be some clarification. The combination latch and seat belt should only be used in combination for FORWARD facing. One or the other should be used for rear facing, but not the combination. Per FOONF Manufacturer's instructions: Rear-Facing LATCH installation for children weighing 14 - 25 lb Vehicle belt installation for children weighing 14 - 50 lb Forward-Facing LATCH and Vehicle Belt installation (used in combination) for children weighing 20 - 65 lb LATCH installation for children weighing 20 - 35 lb Vehicle belt installation for children weighing 20 - 65 lb

I agree.... Im not sure that there's enough clearance in the belt locks under the seat pan for both the latch and seat belts layered together.

@@strangerdangeredm1850 There isn’t, not really. Well, kind of. I’ve been wrestling with this problem for 30 minutes or so before I dug into the comments 😂

How do you adjust the straps to fit your baby properly and how do you loosen to get baby out?
@jessicarimbey34754 жыл бұрын
Can you show how to adjust the seat for the lines that need to be parallel to the ground? Can you also explain when to use recline 2 and recline 3? How do you move the seat from recline 2 to recline 3?

Does it make a difference which hole the crotch belt goes through? I see in the video you've thread it through the hole closest to the headrest is that for rear facing or dependent on weight? Thanks! Definitely the best video to follow!!
@TheBabyCubby7 жыл бұрын
The position of your crotch strap is determined by your child's size and the direction of the seat. You will need to consult your manual for the proper position for your seat and child! Feel free to watch our Clek Foonf Part 2 video "How to set up for installation" (from our 5 part series): kzbin.info/www/bejne/gaTLYqKLaNefg8k If you have further questions we would recommend reaching out to Clek themselves. They have great customer service!

Do you have a video on how to uninstall it? I can try to go backwards through this but yikes! Lol not my forte 😂

We don't have a video to uninstall it but we do have a more recent video of the Foonf. Here is a link: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pXW7Z6iEYp2Lf80

For whatever reason I just can’t get the strap tight enough. I tried using the seat belt and then switched to the shoulder straps. Neither worked for me still moves side to side but the belt is as tight as it will go.

We recommend going a CPS Tech! They can make sure your car seat is properly installed! you can find CPS Techs at your local fire station. ❤️

Is there a place on the side of the Foonf to store the shoulder straps to get the straps out of the way of the kiddo as he/she is being seated (like the Nuna Rava)?
@TheBabyCubby7 жыл бұрын
No unfortunately there is not.
@masturkate5 жыл бұрын
Actually i watched another video by a clek safety technician and you can place the clip portion of the belt in between the fabric and the plastic on the side :) there is no “official” spot but i tried it and it works!
