Clek Oobr Highback Booster: Switching from Convertible to Booster

Oh my gosh, I love this video. Having seen lots of other videos here on KZbin on the Chicco Kidfit 2 in 1 belt positioning booster car seat then seeing this unique video in regards to the Clek Ober high back booster seat which I’ve never heard of, I think it is just as nice for anyone cars especially mommy’s car or possibly even daddy’s car like Chicco or Graco products including the Graco Turbobooster LX. Such a happy and grateful daughter she is here in this video. I can tell she got the surprise of her life that day. God bless her and may God keep her safe in her new booster seat and on any future car rides anywhere & with the family. If only I had been there to see this happy moment unfold that day after she got off school. Makes me want to get out and buy one of these same Clek Ober booster car seats for my brand new 2023 red ford edge ST but I don’t have anyone in my family who would need to use it in my car nor do I have a girlfriend with her own child that would want to use it. I wonder how many colors these come in? This one here showcases pink but of course I know lots of girls love pink. It’s definitely always a fun thing to get over to a local big box store to buy for any kid in your family a new booster seat once they are old and grown up enough to use one, then after getting the old car seat out and putting the new one in then getting over to their school or wherever they might be at and surprise them with it later in the day. Hopefully you’ll get time to upload more videos of your daughter showcasing her new Clek Ober booster car seat in your car in the future. I guess the backseat of the daughters parents car is now like her very own kingdom. That’s just a fun nickname for what I called my former girlfriends sons area in the backseat of our Ford Edges years ago when he used to tag along with us and use his own red and black Chicco kidfit 2 in 1 belt positioning booster car seat back there.

This is so me!! We finally hit the rear facing limit at 5.5 and I may have cried having to switch her to forward facing. The first week she would asked every day if she would still be forward facing. Our poor kids with stubborn mommas!!

Holy how did she fit the Clek Foonf that long ! My little is tall for her age and she outgrew it in height by age 4 and a half , she has been using a harnessed seat ( sureride 65 ) and is 5 and a half

You know, I don't actually remember. But I kept her in it till she outgrew it completely. And now she basically outgrew her Oobr which I don't like one bit. I still feel she's not old enough to ride without a booster.... :(

At this point she is 54 i think or maybe a bit taller, and 9 years old. and yes she did outgrow her her Oobr. We removed the back and she said she was very uncomfortable. She is tall enough and heavy enough to ride with just a seat belt, which is what we are leaning towards....

Awwww she was so happy! How adorable. My oldest is still in a 5 pt harness and will he for quite a while. Haha

Your vehicle has headrests already... Why pick the highback when it's not needed in your situation? Thanks

It’s usually not about headrest it’s about positioning the shoulder belt over their shoulder. If you notice the seatbelt slide through the top part of the booster, where you can adjust height to position the seat belt correctly. There are also many other reasons a HB booster is safer then a regular booster. I know britax has some good videos on HB VS booster.
