Just look at the US or Korean finals of this tournament? From the 6 finalist, there was exactly 1 Zerg - Serral. Rest was Toss + Terran.

I posted that last comment before watching the series and damn those mines hurt. No idea why they were buffed... Their splash is so killer against zerglings and their damage is also very massive...

@@lastleft5809 baneling nerf basically nerfs the entire zerg race across the board since it's such a key unit.

@@alexCh-ln2gw Yes. If Serral would be a Terran player, and if Serral would play on this patch - I am sure he would not loose a single series. He just manages to still win with Zerg, because he is the GOAT and surpasses every other player. Starcraft is no longer balanced around races. It is balanced around Serral. We had individual units in the past nerfed because of a single player (Buyun / Reaper). But we never had the whole races balanced around a single player.

Great cast as always. Although it seems that lately it’s mostly just TvZ match ups which is getting imho a bit boring. Would be nice to see more other match ups as well (vs Protoss, ZvZ, TvT). Anyway, thank you for the work you put into this.

The thing is if you cna wear your opponent down, and make those first games really exhausting and stressful and get in your opponents head, make thegame go on for another 40 minutes if possible. Generate anger so their mind gets interupted from ebtter tactical thoughts... Even if you have lost... if its the first couple games in a best of 7... Really carry it out... and then the later games maybe quit whe nlosing its always a choice, but it also forces your opponent to keep playing and bathroom needs and other things can be a hard score... and being head you cna then suddenly lose because you need to do something else.... SO... thats liek dirty fighting, real world and gaming world being used. lol

No, game speed and real time are not the same. I think its standard for tournaments to run on "faster" game speed

"zerg has handicapped their economy and desperately needs to do damage" zerg drones around 50 vs clems 40 Terran and protoss opening early aggression every game vs hatch first.... no one says anything about them handicapping their economy. Zerg aggressive unit and tech cost 850 min 100 gas at 4:20 Terran aggressive unit and tech cost 1600 min 550 gas at 4:20
