Wow that was awesome, I saw where we were at with the timestamp in game 6 and thought Clem was definitely fucked. Then that quick decisive fight and last game, outstanding. I did not see that coming.

Why did Showtime cut the battery in game 7 after what happened in game 6?

1-0 lead seems a bit ridiculous really, but what do I know I'm relatively new as an SC2 spectator.

Its a standard way of rewarding the player from the winners bracket since he didnt use the losers bracket.

Actually its unfair to Clem in all other competing tournaments Showtime would have win complete series (put clem in lower bracket) then win another series just to get the victory. To be clear competitive tournaments that are not SC2

I mean he beat ShoWTimE 3-1 in the Winner Bracket, to stay undefeated. I've had a lot of debate about different ways to deal with winner/lower brackets, and I used to be a big fan of just no advantage (the lower bracket player had to play an extra series at least), but I think in a BO7 final a 1-0 lead is fair. Some tournaments used to use the double series rule, so ShoWTiME would have to win TWO SERIES against Clem to remove both of his lives, but that's extremely long in SC2 and making the players play two series back to back makes the games lower quality, because you see a lot of repeated situations etc as you're playing exact same maps etc. This is the format that most players prefer to use (the 1-0 lead.)

Protoss is a broken race. Coloses can be shot down,, templars with emp, but disruptors... that is an op unit.
