A video comparing the original Black Orchid and the Parfum would be appreciated! I didn't smell the Parfum version but i'm almost sure i still prefer the original since it is a lot more complex, more floral with much more notes and sweeter overall. I'm still planning to buy it tho in the future.

Great video as usual, my lovely. Like yourself, full-on, literal gourmands are not generally my style, I tend to get tired of them quickly. Even though I love eating desserts I don't want to walk around smelling like one xD I do like fragrances that have a sweet note when there are other inedible notes for contrast. Organza Indécence and Hypnotic Poison come to mind, as well as the classic Shalimar and L'Heure Bleue, both smell delicious in the dry down 😋

My two favourite gourmand fragrances are Diptyque Eau Duelle - edp and Shalimar Souffle Intense. It's just a month away from Summer here in New Zealand and I'm already missing my heavier fragrances. I have to store my out of season ones away in a chilly bin.....mainly because I don't have enough space for them all to hang out together at the same time!! My husband hasn't figured this out as yet....he'd be stunned if he knew how many perfumes I actually have.....oooops!

I m really curious about black orchid Parfum. It sounds beautiful. I also get hungry whenever I smell or even think about truffle! I love any food with it, pizza, pasta ... and I also like perfumes that feature the Note. Another beautiful one with truffle which I think you would love is Dolce Passione by Pantheon Roma. About gourmands in general, I also recently tried the new Passegiata In Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II by Trussardi and it’s a Perfect non sweet Praliné scent, powdery, dusty, nutty! I m still looking for my holy grail sweet pastry perfume 🥐, I have heard that Sweetie Aoud by Roja smells like French pastry but I had not had the chance to try it and blind buying a perfume like this does not seem very wise! 💰💰😵 Thank you for a delicious video Clemence ! 🍫🍫🍫🍓🌺♥️

Really enjoyed this and need to try a bunch of your choices here. I love MFK Gentle Fluidity Gold & want to get a bottle at some point but I think perhaps Grand Soir first and soon! I love sweet fragrances, Byron Parfums Mula Mula is one I enjoy a lot. Im not sure if it's a gourmand but Montale Sensual Instinct has notes of coffee and praline as well as amber and it has a vibe a bit like BR540. A lot more as well lol. I'm not a gourmand woman either but there are always exceptions. More than I'd imagine when starting to list them. I love almond, honey, some berry scents, plum, fig, ginger, gingerbread, rum. Examples: L'Artisan Jour de Fete, SL Chergui, Krizia Spezie Donna, Dior Hypnotic Poison (vintage), Montale Sweet Oriental Dream, Keiko Mecheri Loukhoum, L'Artisan Tea For Two, Escada Collection, Escada Tropical Punch (sounds awful but it's amazing!) Shay & Blue Blueberry Musk, TF Plum Japonais, Diptyque Philosykos, Jo Malone Blackberry & Bay, JM Myrrh & Tonka, Bond No. 9 Madison Square Park, Bond No. 9 Manhattan ... etc.etc. I don't know most of your choices but they sound yummy. :)

The most gourmand fragrance I own is Profvmvm Roma Sorriso - the most decadent realistic chocolate. One I have sampled and is on my way to me, so sweet, boozy and decadent is Xerjoff - 1888.

Just smelled black orchid EDP and I liked it. I'm not a fan of the original, too floral. Black Phantom and uomo by salvatore faragamo are the only gourmand fragrances I own. Uomo is too sweet. Have you tried vanilla cake from montale? Might be my next gourmand.

Bonjour Clémence, I love gourmand fragrances bur not sugary type of... i don’t know if it makes sence... i’m so sad i can’t go anywhere to try the fragrances of your list 😭. I’m still testing Kilian fragrances... omg i’m ruined each month 😇. One of my gourmand one is Close Up by Olfactive Studio 🥰. It is liqorish and boosie, opulent and captivating, it smell like "Mon chéri " liquor, without the chocolate. The cherry, the coffee and the vanilla notes 🤤💖, just like Angels Share, it is like a glass of strong alcohol... The dry down is... interesting... woody, ambery, with a tonkabean "yummy". It is really easier for me to describe it in french but i hope it is still clear... Bisous parfumés 😘

Guuuuuurl, Gentle Fluidity Gold is SO phucking delicious (I think Silver is brilliant in its own right, especially in the spring), I rarely hear it spoken of...good call 😉. Your use of clips, humor, and facial expressions definitely makes you one of my favorites, I've come to realize. I think I watch your videos more for that than your opinions and knowledge, anymore. If you're not familiar, check out Christopher Guest's mocumentaries (Waiting for Guffman, Best in Show, This is Spinal Tap); they're all improvisational, satirical masterpieces (imo, of course). Guffman is my favorite movie, of all time, it's my go to when sad/ depressed, and my test to see if I can date someone. If they don't get it, find the humor: epic fail!! I'm sorry, you didn't make the cut. Holy shit, I went off on a tangent (of course I did, frickin Sagittarius)...the whole point of bringing them up was to recommend them for wicked great clips for hilarious facial expressions.

GF Gold soooo delish. But if I want to smell like a true gourmand, I usually just take a fresh dessert and smeeeeear it all over my pants. The effect is uncanny.
