Use ERIN55 to get 55% off your first month at Scentbird sbird.co/3J4gSlt This month I received... Frustration by Etat Libre D'Orange sbird.co/43LxoPk Woods, spicy, bourbon and vanilla. This is a dream if you’re searching for a unique take on a vanilla fragrance. Current favorite! I Don't Know What by DS & Durga sbird.co/43NwVMv For those who don’t like fragrance and just prefer to smell fresh with a slight aromatic herbal clean scent, this one is office appropriate, unisex, and it will boost any other fragrances and make them last longer. Forever Florence by Glasshouse sbird.co/ 3CiuTs3 Peach, Pear, Peony, such a vibrant citrus, floral fresh fragrance. Soft and dries down to more of a skin scent. Really beautiful for spring/summer Tamarindo by Memo Paris sbird.co/435WbN9 In love with this. Tropical but nighttime. It gives the vacation on a beach vibe but dries down to a spicy woodsy fragrance that I find perfect for date night. Jamaica by Nateeva sbird.co/3XAhjKg Imagine vacation in Jamaica but not just tropical, sunscreen vibes, there is also the earth. The vetiver note gives the actual land beyond the initial burst of beach vibes. Moon Glory by The Harmonist sbird.co/3PDsUqg Very sweet summer fragrance. Gives nighttime tropical vibes but the dry down serves dessert. Floral with Hawaiian Jasmine and a base of delicious honey.

Scentbird is fantastic! It actually helped me determine that I’m not a fan of what I thought I was at all! And at such a great price point, it can’t be beat. Love the addition of the Saks Fifth Avenue ones. Thanks to Scentbird, I was able to find my new signature scent after two kids! Congrats on the sponsor, Erin! You deserve it. ♥️

Perfume is very personal, what is a "bad" scent combo to one person may be wonderful to someone else for instance because it evokes scents from their childhood home. And that's not even dipping into the genetic differences into being able to smell different specific molecules.

Knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and always so respectful and classy! I'm loving your content. As a child in the 1960's, I asked all the ladies at church what perfume they were wearing and memorized them all. I enjoyed the surprise on the faces when the next Sunday, I could correctly call out each one on someone I'd never met. Eventually, in the 1980's, I became a make up artist and ended up featured by Christian Dior for 13 years in the US and Canada. My first job for them was the Hawaii launch of Dior's POISON. I’m pretty sure my grandpa had Snuff by Schiaparelli. He would’ve probably gotten it from my grandma after returning from Italy, where he was stationed in WWII. He owned a gas station and was the type that would’ve worn it only on special occasions-Old Spice was his jam for things like church 😊 My mom would show me grandmas old makeup sometimes (she still had old cake mascara) and I just remember seeing that pipe bottle and the cigar box on the dresser in their room. I remember thinking the name sounded weird; I didn’t know what “snuff” was. So many things my family either threw away or sold when my grandpa died in the mid-80s that I would love to have now.

Utterly fascinating, your enthusiasm & knowledge really adds to everything you do,kudos. Tuberose has been a favourite scent for me since I was a very small boy, though my mother used Arpège - my earliest memories of her returning home after a night out & sitting on/ leaning over my bed, that heady scent of Arpège,mixed with a hint of Grand Manier or Tia Maria. ,with a almost imperceptible hint of oil of Olay, which she s😂wore by- sadly she died last year & while we were sorting through her bedroom ,it was like she was in the room with us! She also used Madame Rochas - she had a couple of the special ,now vintage Marcel Rochas,Madam Rochas Spray refillable metal containers. That was her day time scent - what she & a lots of 'upper class' women would refer simply as "smell". She only ever smoked socially & had given it up completely by 40 /5 ; also she only ever smoked the original slightly oval Sobranie Black Russian or their famous coloured cocktail cigarettes, which came in pink, as well as mauve, red,& a vibrant bright green.Shd had a beautiful cigarette box with matching lighter from Dunhill, one side with the Black Russians, the other the cocktail cigarettes which to me then, were deeply sophisticated and elegant, especially as she smoked out of a Chinese carved & black lacquered cigarette holder;with gold detail to the cigarette end as well as at the mouth piece end. She was very Irish, with long auburn hair & like your wonderful videos about MM,she only used brown pencil around her eyes & brown mascara. As I said she only smoked socially, neither siblings nor myself have even one memory of her smoking alone during the day ; I mention the cigarettes because both types came with a 'gold' foil covered filter & I just adored the whole glamorous combination, the cherry on the cake, was the touch of gold over her lipstick, which was always a deep red/scarlet. When in London she would go weekly to the Elizabeth Arden salon in Bond Street. Times being different then she would leave me to 26:00 wander the shops of Bond Street & the amazing art galleries. For myself,I've used "Fracas" by Robert Piguet,I'm totally besotted by it - yes,it is expensive , but,a little goes a long way & it's rarely more unusual to have people ignore me,on average I get asked multiple times a week, what is my aftershave/cologne,my backup for ,slumping at home is original light a citrusy "Eau Savage"I was given a bottle on my 13th birthday I actually hate the Savage Noir & multiple other aftershaves, colognes that & sickeningly sweet perfumes. I did wear the original tuberose from Jo Malone, but since she sold out,it just isn't the same,I think they use many artificial components & two it wears off very quickly. I'm, loving your channel ,it wonderful to hear someone who is so excited & erudite about their job. Very best wishes to you&yours & have a great weekend 👏👏👏👌👋⭐️💯✌️

I watch all your videos …I worked for Christian Dior in my youth, so makeup and fragrance is a passion of mine…I miss those years when beauty was fresh, fun and inspiring…..you are an inspiration to you tube. I feel the beauty community generally (i guess that’s abit unkind as there are a few exceptions ) isn’t anymore ….it feels it is just about the money and fame 😢 …. And to see a women’s vanity like that through history I was like Wow (I also love Art Deco… the beauty of it all) ..I love my dressing table still to this day ….after having 3 sons ..like you said it’s our space/time ….I take the day off along with my make up …it’s my girlie time….😊 thank you so so much …. Can’t wait to see what is next, I wish I could visit that museum but I am in England (although I feel I just have, thanks to you 😊) loved this video so very much….thanks again you guys must of put alot of time and love into it. ❤

My mom use to wear a cologne from Avon when I 16. it was a popular perfume. I don't remember the name of it but it brought back bad memories from when I was going through a nervous breakdown and had severe depression so I got really depressed whenever I smelled it but it no longer brings back those type of memories for me

I went to this place last week. It's even more incredible than I was expecting. What a hidden gem in the Chicago area. The drive there was magical too-- roling hills, horse farms. The scale of the house is amazing. It's filled with all kinds of other antiques and treasures besides cosmetics, perfume, bottles and glass. Wow

You mentioned that sometimes a perfume may remind you of someone. For me it's White Diamonds by Elizabeth Taylor because of my Grandma. She wore it everyday. She passed in 2006 so every so often I'll spray a little from the bottle I bought to bring me joy. I love these type of videos since I live in a 1901 farmhouse that was built around an even older log cabin. It makes me wonder what they would've worn back then.

Just received Marfa by Memo Paris. Love it. The Tuberose Absolute is a bit heady and pungent, but once it lingers on my skin for a bit, omg, it is heavenly! Could watch these videos all day! I agree with the others, make this an ongoing show/series. History of Beauty. I would be your biggest watcher!

I have a very hyper sensitive smell. Im 50 and I grew up knowing I could smell traces and notes of things others couldn’t. It would drive me nuts at times as I could smell things foul that no one else could. I have an extreme need to be surrounded at all times by beautiful scents. I put soap in my drawers, oil burners, diffusers, candles (not used all at once obviously). I also have at least 5 different types of laundry soap to interchange whatever I feel like that day. I hang my laundry outside just to have that clean crisp smell. And I deeply inhale the clothes as I bring them in …. Lol I know.. I’m weird. This place would be heaven for me!!! I seriously need to go. To smell old scents from bygone eras! Wow!
