As a Rangers fan, I honestly don't know what the fans expect. We can't afford to keep sacking managers, and we can't spend money to improve. I thought we should've went for a manager that knew Scottish football and told him he'll get a small budget. In Clements defence, it looks like he was sold a dream. The board need to sort those other appointments out and hope things pick up. I've been saying for years Tav being a captain hasn't helped either as he can't seem to get a grip on games that other captains do. Long gone are the days where we could compete with Celtic sadly.

Reality is rangers in a bad financial situation, no longer guaranteed to be top 2 in the country because of prior years of mismanagement. Letting so many valuable players run out contracts, sacking managers, making poor signings etc. If they don’t go through the short term pain of being in this place they might end up being in an even worse place again, defunct and bankrupt. Rangers fans need to take the reality check and accept where their club is at. There is no silver bullet

As this video shows the fans are the biggest impediment to them getting better. Entitlement and ridiculous expectations coupled with a misplaced belief in what they are as a club since the fake success of the 1990s is their biggest issue to progression. NONE of them seem to understand that The Rangers NEED to live within their means now after years of massive losses trying to act like the previous club. Their fans go on about investment but all that really means is spending someone else’s money with no expectation of paying it back. They don’t live in the real world where businesses need to operate properly. If the fans could just take a deep breath, let the board implement some sort of plan and build over two or three seasons things might get better. But they don’t have that patience because of the aforementioned entitlement and it’s always instant success and screw the financial implications.
