The household fund in my area is closed until March. You also need to be referred. Housing benefits don't cover rent so pensioner's do have to deduct it from thier own pension leaving below the winter fuel threshold but unable to claim anything. I refuse to freeze but keep my heating on low, I'll be paying the debt for gas all next summer.

There is was no black hole left, it was created by Labour. However Labour are in a hole now.The pensioner and farmer tax hits were spiteful because few vote labour. Is it any wonder few pensioners vote labour. A lesson the young are now starting to learn is that Labour always ruin the country and run out of other peoples money.
