Although gradients are very popular I don’t think they’re going to suit everyone’s tastes. But I agree, definitely something for everyone with puzzling - so many other wonderful, fun puzzles available too! 😀

@@JigsawJubie Currently I'm working on Venetian Masks made by Eurographics. After that High Art: A Budtender in His Shop, and a classic 1500 piece of Noah's Ark by Tom duBois made by Sunsout.

So great to see this collection. It is indeed beautiful, and I love that Clementoni does have such variety within this group of puzzles. ❤🧡💛💚💙💜 I haven't done a Clementoni yet, though I do have one in my to do pile. Oddly, I haven't decided if I'm actually going to do it. I bought it used, and I'm not sure if I like the image enough to do it as a 1500 piece puzzle. I mention this, because I am still curious about doing a Clementoni, and your video has given me another little nudge in that direction. The other thing I like about this video, is that watching a gradient time lapse is a great way to see another puzzler's puzzling/sorting style more clearly than with another type of image. 🌈 I find people's different methods fascinating, and I'm always looking at ways to expand my own repertoire of techniques. Thanks for the video, Jubie! 😁👋

Thank you - glad you enjoyed seeing this collection - it's definitely a fun one! 😀🧩🌈 I would definitely recommend trying Clementoni at some point, but maybe don't force yourself to do a puzzle you're not that keen on just to try the brand. They'll be around for a long time with lots more puzzles coming out too! So I'm sure you'll get to try them eventually, while doing a design you really like. 😊💖 I really enjoy seeing how people sort and puzzle too, it's pretty interesting! And I think it's always fun seeing a time lapse of a gradient too! 🙂

Loving all the colorful puzzles. My favorite is the 2000 pc one. I haven't done anything over 500 pc and I struggle with those. I need to be a more experienced puzzler before trying to tackle puzzles like that.
@JigsawJubie2 жыл бұрын
The 2000pc one is definitely a gorgeous puzzle but was very challenging! 😅 But I think even these more challenging puzzles can be done by people of all puzzle skill levels. I think if you can give yourself lots of time and just do a little bit at a time it’s definitely achievable! 😀

Fun to see you puzzle Whirl, I recently did that one and it was way harder than I thought it would be! I do think the brand is great because there are no false fits, and it doesn't bother me at all that you can't do a puzzle pick up. Our approaches where similar too, saving the yellow for last. Love your videos, thanks!

Thank you, glad you're enjoying my videos! 😀💖 Yes, this one was actually quite deceiving! I'm not sure what it is about this Whirl puzzle, but it seems to give the impression that it's not going to be as tricky and difficult as it really is! 😅

Clementoni tested the idea of gradient puzzles with the first one you see that was simply called "Gradient" (39521) and was a part of the 2020 High Quality Collection. In 2021, the Color Boom Collection was launched with new branding and packaging concept to highlight the colorful collection. The Gradient 1000 piece puzzle renamed Color Boom Mosaic and 6 additional titles (Squares 500 pc, Waves 500 pc., Collage 1000 pc, Pure 1000 pc., Whirl 1000 pc., and a new Gradient that is 2000 pc.) made the series. In 2022, 2 additional titles made the collection, Color Boom Pixel 1500 pc. and Marvelous Marbles 1000 pc., and Pure 1000 pc. was discontinued (but you still see them out in the market in some countries). In 2023, Waves and Squares have been discontinued but a wonderful new puzzle, Color Boom Stairs 500 pc. has been added, which should be out in the market in March. The line is expected to develop and grow as the popularity has grown steadily.

I hope they don’t completely ditch the linen finish on their pieces. That’s one of the things I really love about Clementoni. Maybe it’s just something they have gone for on this particular collection? Thanks for the video - these puzzles are gorgeous 😃
@JigsawJubie2 жыл бұрын
Glad you enjoyed the video! 😀💖 I agree - I definitely prefer the lovely linen finish. I didn't mind the more glossy finish used in this collection, despite the sheen issues, I do think it enhanced the colours and helped them 'pop' more. But yes, fingers crossed it was just for that collection! 🤞

I like the clementoni brand. I have enjoyed This brand for years snd have the color boom collection. I’m in the states. I am really wanting to get my hands on a Diesel and Dutch puzzle but we don’t have them here am looking at their website they don’t ship here. :-(. Love your channel.

Thank you! 🥰💖 Do you have a favourite/s from the Colorboom collection? 🌈🧩 I just looked up Diesel and Dutch as I hadn't heard of them before even though they're an Australian brand! I might have to try one out sometime. It could be worth emailing/messaging them to see if there are any stockists in the US or if they would ever consider shipping there? 🙂

Your bubblegum colored hair is so cute. Are you letting the color grow out? Or are you planning on color over it again?

@@JigsawJubie I see 😅 I had orange hair for several years and really loved this bright, lively color. It was a real eye magnet. But I had to go to a salon every four or so weeks to redye and bleach the newgrown roots and it always costed like 70 dollars. I ultimately stopped dying my hair when I had a major accident in 2017 and was in hospital and afterwards in physiotherapy rehabilitation. Now I only have my natural color (like a mid-blond).
@JigsawJubie2 жыл бұрын
Orange hair sounds fun! 😀 I have to go to the salon a fair bit too. I try to stretch it out to every couple of months and just touch up the colour (not bleach) myself at home during this time. Do you think you would ever try a bright colour again? I can definitely see the appeal and convenience of having natural hair though to be honest... sometimes I just get sick of the upkeep and expense! 😅
@petrescuework-difficultcas65812 жыл бұрын
@@JigsawJubie That's the point. As much as I loved my bright orange hair and would love to have it again, the time and money factor are just too much for me at the moment. Especially as my pets get older and get more and more age related health conditions and need regular vet check ups. I'm also myself battling with many health issues and never enjoyed the 'sitting at the salon feeling'. And the more my health deteriorates over the years, my tolerance for sitting through annoying situations declines drastically 😅 Maybe that will change some time. I'm open for changes with my hair at all times. Just right now it's not a goal I follow.

That's fair enough. My two cats are also getting old now and are needing to get some things done... nearly fainted from hearing the price of a dental clean! 😭😅 Yes! I absolutely loathe sitting in the hairdresser's chair for hours on end! It's really tough on my back and especially my joints. The things I do just to have pretty, colourful hair... 😆

Wow, those are really pretty. Too bad the quality wasn’t quite what you were hoping for. I like your hair , by the way. Thanks for the video. 💕

Thank you! ☺️ Thankfully for the most part there are enough good points going for the Clementoni brand to still make their puzzles worthwhile. But yes, definitely would be nice if their piece fit was a little tighter. 😀
@ammalyrical56462 жыл бұрын
oh fun. I'm gonna watch the rest after I get out of bed but I have three of those as well (whirl, collage, and waves. The latter is surprisingly difficult for a 500 piece gradient puzzle). I don't like the image on the squares puzzle and the 1000 piece gradient and triangle puzzle I've got some of those already. But I can't easily get that 2000 piece one, which makes me sad. That would probably be the only 2000 piece puzzle I'd get and I love that gradient, it's gorgeous.
@ammalyrical56462 жыл бұрын
SIDENOTE: I somehow end up doing gradient puzzles in the evening and with suboptimal lighting. I don't know why but it does make it take longer. And the fit of the pieces can be a bit annoying. Luckily I borrowed a Clementoni from my grandma before doing that one so I knew what to expect.
@JigsawJubie2 жыл бұрын
Have you done the Collage one yet? I still have to do mine but interested to know what it's like. 🙂 Yes, that 500pc is definitely a little tricky! Took me a while to get started on it. 😅 That's a shame that you can't easily get a hold of that 2000pc one. 🙁 I hope it shows up near you sometime soon! 🤞
@JigsawJubie2 жыл бұрын
Yes, my lighting here isn't the best. I don't have a space where I can use natural light to puzzle, so I'm always puzzling under a yellow-ish light. That's good that you could borrow a Clementoni and test out the quality first before buying their puzzles. 🙂
@ammalyrical56462 жыл бұрын
@@JigsawJubie I haven't done the collage one yet. I'm still in the middle of Starfield from Blue Kazoo and Gothic Guardian from Bluebird (a design by Anne Stokes). I've done some smaller puzzles (including the Gradient Krypt, which was actually pretty easy and fun) in between to get back into puzzling but I want to finish the puzzles I started first.
