Ones from 2024 that i would definitely recommend, are Decline's Drops, Magenta Horizon: Neverending Harvest, Loco Motive and Zet Zillions. Would really like if you could list the games with names instead of just their sequence numbers. Ik it helps when people click each one but i would really appreciate it if i could just watch the games that i dont know about rather than not watching the entire video just cause its cumbersome to go through each one of them. See, I was actually feeling the opposite. Many of them felt rushed and/or forced, and a lot of them just are not needed. A segue for - Every. Single. Game. - has been jarring to me. There's no gap between the games at all, and it takes away from the experience, almost like each individual game doesn't have as much weight. Maybe it is something I can get used to

My biggest disappointment was Dungeons of Hinterburg - it is absolutely gorgeous and the combat while not providing anything new is serviceable, the almost complete lack of exploration and excessive hand-holding were both complete turnoffs for me. I'm also relatively slow to go through games so I still haven't played the bigger indie releases of 2024 like Animal Well and Nine Sols, but I'm really looking forward to them. Also, I really appreciate you and your channel - it has opened up a whole new world of gaming for me when so much of it from the AA/AAA seems stale.

You first need to define what is a soulslike, which the fanvase doesn't generally agree on According to the majority being 3d isn't a requirement so 2d soulslike games exist, and they are right I agree with that

@@Azure9577 Oh yah I mean its all subjective. I would say with Elden Ring the definition of a Souls like changed even more since it use to involve a interconnected world. For me a Soulslike is a 3D game with lock on combat, stamina system, Boss fights, and RPG elements. Blasphemous for example a lot of people call a Soulslike. How is it a Soulslike rather than a Metroidvania?
