Tim Soret, creator of the Last Night clarified on Discord that the game was atleast 3 years away from Launch.....so there's no chance its going to come out next year.

@@PiMaC1985 They were still in the phase of improving the graphical fidelity and style of the game engine back then, it looks even better now than it did in the trailer. That's why it was only last year that they were able to enter production.

The Siege and The Sandfox looks like such a promising game! Thank you for your work! Your channel is the best place for a breakdown of all interesting indies coming. I only wish we had more news about Little Devil Inside (development hell for sure) and Bushiden. Maybe people like you could reach the developers and hopefully have an idea of how it's going.

Man, the Sandfox looks awesome. When you think of next-gen side-scrollers that's definitely what comes to mind. That Mariachi game at the end kind of looks right up my alley, love the art-style and gun-fu. Definitely we need more games that dabble in different cultures with cool weapons and lore.

Happy Birthday! You fully deserve a high quality Crokonole or Carrom board for your Birthday for all the hardwork on indie games over the years inbetween. I also recommend Tak if you can get a few bits of wood and a grid together! Too many brilliant-looking games to mention all of them, but the top picks for me would be: 1. Escape the mad empire - Brilliant pixel art style with party-tactics rogue-lite split real/pause time in dungeons measureless to man! Sign me up. 2. The Siege And The Sandfox - A platformer that has not excited me so much since Vagante with the rich atmosphere evoked and clever capering around the levels looks possible too! 3. Wind Runners - This Luftwafers-like Psygnosis-looking game has been one of my most anticipated for a while now. The dev took time off to do some contract work they can spend more time on the physics fine-tuning for those gravity and nature-defying pivots in mid-air then this could be a sensational arcadey high-octane thriller - just insert 50 cents to Play! 4. Arco - The tactics and simultaneous turns and cute and distinct presentation looks brilliant and tantalizing. Lords of Exile, Momodora, Dying Breed and Mina The Hollower all look interesting as do all the others too. But the above really stand out in a stellar list.

The Odinfall demo did very little for me, and I doubt The Last Night is ever coming out at this point. It's on that Hollow Knight: Silksong track. But I am 100% here for Earthblade, Aethermancer, My Familiar, and Replaced. The top three are all new to my eyes, but I can see why you put them on this list. Those look amazing.

The siege and the sandfox is something to keep an eye on. It is not completely unique, surely it draws some inspiration from the mark of the ninja or maybe even wildfire, but it is a rare genre.
