@@ClemmyGames Hmm, I paid the composer for the license to use it. Not sure how that transfers to showing clips of it on KZbin. Would like to know as I'm genuinely curious how to make it easier for content creators.

@@Sam-mk9ke It's planned! There is a lot of UI navigation that will need to be set up for controller support (tooltips mainly) so it may be one of the later features, but definitely something I'm looking to add.

Warside looks great, doesn't it? I backed it a while ago on KS, can't wait to have it come out. Just in terms of theme and visuals alone, it seems to be doing everything right where Wargroove and even the Advance Wars remaster fell short, or missed the point. Really hope it succeeds!

Thanks for this, lots of interesting looking games to add to my wishlist. Glad to see a nod for DREAM TACTICS on this list. I played the demo during NextFest and was surprised at how fun the combination of tactical combat and deck building was. I'm not usually a deck-building guy but there were some really fun synergies between cards that also rewarded good positioning. Not sure how engaging the story will be, pillows are not exactly the most narratively exciting opponents, but the gameplay was fun enough I plan to pick this up when it releases. I did not try the demo for CROWN WARS, but the Dungeon of Naheulbeuk had really fun combat so I expect Crown Wars does as well. OTOH, I thought the writing in Naheulbeuk was terrible, probably due to its source material, so hopefully Crown Wars improves in that regard. I was really excited for ARCO, because the visuals are beautiful and the combat reminds me of Flamberge (RIP). Unfortunately the combat system didn't fully come together for me. Hopefully the devs are getting good feedback and get things tightened up for the full release

Mars Tactics - Looks like it expands the scope of tactics game in a really good way creating synergy of game play systems at different levels. Always a winner if executed successfully. Demonschool - Imho has the best visuals and immersion of art and design of the selection. Small arena and thoughtfuld design of motion and action and positioning and context interacting makes it come across as deeper tactical gameplay potential too. Arco - Mixing up real time and turn-time is imho a great system to increase accessibility and appeal of the genre and they look like they might have pulled this off with aplomb from the trailer: Easy to see the action and looks satisfying getting the timing and decisions just right. Menace - Looks seriously professional and no wonder by the devs of Battle Brothers. Definitely a game that can provide a fix for fans of this genre.

Vandal Hearts came out before FFTactics, and I preferred it by a country mile. Wonder if it holds up. It was kinda puzzle-y every few levels which was coo.

Dream tactics looks curious since i do like the minimalist look of it on top of it seeming less of an instance based tactics title like disgaea and FFTactics (aka you pick where you want to go and it drops you on a map), and looks more like it has world exploration with tactics based encounters (like Baulders Gate 3 actually lol, but with no ability to manipulate the field before you encounter things).

@@commentarytalk1446 That’s nice to hear that it’s doing well online. Would love for Nintendo to continue the franchise. Afaik they haven’t done a new one since the DS and it’s a shame as the series is indeed incredibly good and has been around since the famicom days. Time for a revival. Fire Emblem is doing well enough in the west, so can’t think of a reason to not try a new entry in this series.

Oh it is such a pet peeve, but why would you name your game something so generic like "Crown Wars"!? It's like very scammy mobile title named arbitrary things like: - Dragon Wars: Age of War - War of Thrones: Dragon Chronicles - Day of War: Dragon Tribes - Crown Thrones: Tribe Dragons - Age of Crowns: Crown Age Its an IMEMDIATE turnoff!
