My mind boggles and my legs stagger, at the sheer number and frenetic action of all these games: Sure I'd argue almost ALL of them really do look like "insta-fun!" titles to pick up & play and have an absolute blast! But there's so many of them... "Thousands of them, Sir!" At least knowing Deep Rock Galactic by Ghostship, was one of the most outstanding coop multiplayer games of recent times, then "Rogue Core FPS (?)" at least on reputation alone could stand out all by itself and thus be of interest, but... idk, Hades II just looks like more of the same to me so nothing too special? As said my mind wavers, my steps stutter, at the sheer number of titles in this genre: It's almost impossible to find qualities that separate the also-rans and the crowd from the shining stars and unicorns of the genre. I guess I'll just have to let others do the hard work of whittling down the best titles instead. For sure the addictive quality of rogue-lites generates this "SO MANY!" problem in the first place.

the rogue lite genre is just oversaturated with vampire survivor, dead cells, hades like games, they used to be the hidden gems of gaming now they're just the same games that were mentioned but with different skins, it became harder and harder to find unique ones, sometimes even good ones...
