How about give Clemson's defense credit for dominating upfront. When Clemson lost to Ala in two previous contests, the coach said "we got out coached and out played." Gave the credit to Ala. I've never seen so many excuses from ANY losing team in my life. All the IF's, IF THIS, IF THAT, and one of my favorites, IF this was a best of 7 series like the NBA. Last season when we got beat in the Sugar Bowl, NO CLEMSON FANS were saying IF, and IF, or IF. Alabama got beat by a better team, that was better prepared, and wanted it more. Sure, sure! If I were an Alabama fan (I know you are watching this video) and watched the ending I would immediately be embarrassed beyond description. I have never, in all my many years, heard such convoluted logic in an effort to justify an undesired result. After all, it is just a football game. A game where you lost worse than anytime in the tenure of your coach, by 28 points, 4 touchdowns, and looked like you didn't belong on the same field. Especially since your team was the best of all time, an SEC team beaten this badly by a team from the, wait, ACC! No doubt, if lightning had struck all our receivers and the hot dog buggy had fell on our running backs and the defense decided to take a nap and TL16 had decided to sit out the game, you may have only lost by 2 touchdowns (both on turnovers).
