I fu*kin love the spirit of these new/same ol' Browns. Win or lose we're coming out and going down swinging. Something I only saw sporadically over the years. Hell of a time to be a Browns fan. I absolutely love the spirit and fight in these guys. We Cleveland fans deserve this and it feels good to finally cheer for a team that's not gonna roll over and die against anyone. #Dawgpound4Life

How appropriate it was for Jim Brown to announce the selection of Nick Chubb.. Though, I remember him initially being annoyed that they didn't get Saquon. I'm a Sooner and Baker fan, that became a Browns fan when he got selected. I didn't watch the NFL before that, since Oklahoma doesn't have a team and I had no genuine influence to cause me to root for any team out of state. But I was ecstatic that they picked Chubb. I had no knowledge how the players lined up in the draft that year, but Chubb is who I was hoping that they would get to pair with Baker. Because I witnessed how good Chubb was in that epic Rose Bowl game against my Sooners.

I think there are a bunch of us. I grew up in Utah, so I was a Denver fan just by proximity. But I've been in Oklahoma for about 12 years, and I was attending OU when Baker was there. Met him off campus at something completely unrelated to school or football, it was just before the draft. I was carrying my sleeping daughter and he held the door open for me. I wished him luck in the draft and told him I'd keep tabs on him. Been a Browns fan since. I was pretty bummed when that was who drafted him, given their previous couple of seasons, but I don't think it would have been nearly as much fun had it not gone down the way it has. Now they're widely regarded as legitimate contenders, and it's been quite the ride. I'm so pumped for this season. I think he's going to really come into his own this year now that he has a little continuity in the program. Also, I love that he still trolls on Texas, lol. Boomer for life.

I’ll never forget watching that segment of hard knocks when Hugh brought those QBs in his office just to humiliate Baker by twisting the knife in his back just a little more and I’ll never forget feeling that Baker had every right to stand up and ask the question “Is this how businesses is done in Cleveland” and walked his ass out of Cleveland leaving Hugh to explain himself to the owner BUT NOOOO he didn’t do that smh Instead he took it on the chin and said to himself “My time is coming” I have so much respect for Baker for handling his business the way he did and that’s why he’s still there and Hugh isn’t even in the NFL these days….

I only learned recently that the play where Baker sealed the Browns playoff birth at 17:00 was called "Maserati." Which some believe to be an obvious reference to something Colin Cowherd said about Baker after the preseason game against the Eagles in 2018. He said something like, "I want my number 1 draft pick to be a Maserati, not a Mazda. Baker Mayfield is a Mazda." Talk about poetic justice. I only learned about it because I recently went back to listen to the Cleveland Browns Daily broadcast the day after, and Nate and Beau mentioned the name of the play, and vaguely insinuated that there was a distinct reason why that play was called that. But I'm dying to know who actually named that play. 🤔

I've been a Browns fan since 1972 when my Grandma took me to see the Browns play Kansas City at old Municipal Stadium. The Browns commited 8 turnovers in that game and lost 30-0. They did finish the year 10-4 though. But it was that first season where I learned to be a Browns fan you better have a tight gut or the team will drive you crazy. I gave up on them sfter '95' I was so pissed, insulted and felt like a fool to give my loyalty and support all those lean years in the 70' and early 80s only to have Model move them. We all know about the "reset in '99' and the horrible product the Browns put on the field and the complete breakdown in the front office. I forgave them in 2017 LOL the year they went 0-16. Up to that point I refused to follow them. That's easy to do living on the west coast. But when streaming audio cane out and I could literally walk around San Francisco listening to a live Browns game on my IPhone, well I said it was long enough. I have to tell you that you open yourself up to all kinds of heckling and downright hostility wearing a Browns shirt, especially after 0-16. But someone in that front office stockpiled massive draft picks and had huge cap space left. Think it was Sachi. Then Dorsey knew what to do with all that Capitol on down to Andrew Berry and we've got a team. I mean a real team. But this is where I started to have reservations. I know all about Mayfield and the offense and the defensive rebuild. But a writer I was looking at the other day said some things to make me pause. The Browns played the 4th easier schedule lady year. Of that they won 9 games by 6 points or less. Im not going to go.in about that but they had some luck. This has been the most relaxed and positive preseason camp I can ever remember. No controversy, no fights and no holdouts. Since there wasn't that one glaring weakness camp was all about getting back in football shape and bringing in the Rookies. And the Browne kept every draft picks either on the team or practice squad. Are we being lulled to sleep here. How many times have we had high expectations for the season only to have a large dose of reality smack us in the head? Im going forward with cautious optimism as I think you should too. Don't be surprised if the Browns are 4-6 then turn it around. I hope not. I'm hoping for a 13-4 season. But I'd settle for 12-5. And I'm not even going to talk playoffs until we're in December. I'd like to, and I hope the team, focus on the division then we'll talk I December. Having said all that I guess I'm nervous like I never used to be even when they were good here. Peace out Go Browns in 2021

So you gave up on us I hope you stayed a Browns fan on the west coast I wish I could of been part of the Cleveland Municipal stadium but I was born in 1990 I been throu alot being a Cleveland fan Browns Cavs Indians and I just hope my Browns make it to the Super Bowl this year we have a stacked team this year and hope it all goes well we all bleed for Cleveland
@antknee5556

@@corycaldwell9986 I gave up on the Browns but continued to be an Indians and Buckyes fan. I grew up in the West side Suburbs and then went to high school in Columbus. I've been out here since '83' and I STILL bleed Scarlett and Grey when the buckyes lose. Saturday vs Oregon was a shock. Especially since this is Pac 12 country and ANY time ANY team from the Pac 12 beats a Big 10 team ill hear about it. The Browns. I was born the year before the Browns won the NFL Championship. 1964. The last year Jim Brown played and it wasn't even called a Superbowl then. I of course don't remember it I was too young. My Grsndma used to take me to Browns and Indians games (now THEY were REALLY REALLY BAD in the 1970s) and taught me what being a hard core passionate fan for your team was all about. My little Grandma was Cleveland through and through and was as hard-core as any Dawg Pound barking when the Dawg Pound was rough, tough and not for any out of town jerseys. This version isn't anything like the real one. You stood as good a chance of getting a beer dumped on you or worse. Much worse. You only got Dawg Pound tickets cause they were cheaper at first. It's the end zone. Fact is it was rowdy. Fights. You stood a good chance of having a size D battery thrown at your head if you were on the other team. Once, somebody threw an M80 right under my seat. I covered my girlfriends ears before it went off but mine were ringing for days after that. Lots of beer. It got REALLY cold back then. I went to the 1981 Playoffs Browns vs Raiders. Red Right 88. The wind chill was -30 below zero. I didn't even see the interception. We were driving with 2 minutes left all the way to the Raiders 18 and Sipe throws the interception that killed a generation. We were screaming thinking they're going in and I was sipping whiskey planning our victory party and my girlfriend starts crying and it got so quiet all you could hear was people crying and the wind blowing. And the Raiders laughing and cheering. Anyways, I'm sorry I walked you down memory lane. No my friend I never gave up on them, I can't. I'm trying to stay alive long enough to see a Superbowl. I may have to watch it with my Grandma in Heaven. So let's pray OBJ is healthy for the playoff run and the defense is more together come playoff time. Go Browns!

As a Seahawks fan, this reminds me of the Rain City Redemption series one of our fans created. Very well done. Good luck this season Cleveland. Your team reminds me a little bit of our 2005 and 2013 Seahawks teams. Hope the ending is more like it was for us in 2013 than it was for us in 2005. I still have nightmares of that Super Bowl, particularly with zebra stripes involved. Enjoy the journey Browns fans👍

Awesome video dude!!! Shout out to you bro you remember these moments that made even the making of this video all the more special. We're witnessing Cleveland Browns history and people are scared of it truthfully. Personally I'm not expecting anything as i never have just along for the ride. I can admit I've at only 39 yrs old never seen a Browns team this good. We werent around when the Browns where the patriots of football. The 80s stuff is nothing different then then 90s Cavaliers imo one guy kept us a bay even with those power house squads. I wont mention the indians whom I consider personally the biggest failures in Cleveland sports history with the numerous championship level teams they yielded that came up empty handed simply because they choked. This was awesome bro you earned this sub.😉🔥

Incredible video. I teared up. But I would legit send a donation if you could add some of these things to this video... First... I wish you would've captured the energy in the stadium the moment Baker picked up his helmet and then those first 4 completions. I was there and I've never seen anything like it my life. The energy was UNREAL!! Also... - One of Chubbs first games against the Raiders had 3 carries for 105 yards and 2 touchdowns -Denzel Wards debut against big Ben when he picked him off TWICE in the first half -**Jarvis Landry locker room speech** -Jarvis Landry broke a rib against the Colts and came back into the game, and also didn't miss a game after that. -Jarvis Landry playing the entire 19 season with a fracture sacrum -Anything... ANYTHING other than the "rave/club" instrumental towards the end when they beat Pittsburgh in the playoff. - The fact that we played that game without our head coach/play caller -Add the divisional round against Kansas City!!!!! And then how we play them week 1 @arrowhead!! Because they are coming for revenge!! And this time they will have Obj. Playoff preview. Because that's where the ultimate hype is!! The fact that people are saying the Browns are the biggest threat to the Chiefs

For me it all started in 86 and I’m so sad that my uncle that was a die hard Browns fan never got to see this team he swore that one day would take the field and win it all passed away seven months after Model sold the team… I watched my moms brother cry like a child the day he realized Cleveland really was leaving and a few months later he himself was gone from a massive heart attack….I thought for sure last year Cleveland was gonna win it all… This year they have the same drive as the 85 Bears, Cleveland found their identity last year I can only hope these players really do know this teams incredible heartbreaking history, I hope they know what the term Red Right 88 means cause if they do there won’t be any stopping them
