This game proved a lot of things: 1. Cavs only work and focus around Lebron. 2. Cavs do not know how to fit other "star"/strong players in the system. 3. I.T was right about everything he said. 4. I.T was not the reason why the Cavs have been struggling, as we clearly see. There is a reason why IT faced unnecessary bias when leaving the Cavs and reason why Kyrie trade happen. It is because of LeBron. Let me explain which is a long one... LeBron controls the narratives of the league. People who don't agree are sleep. He controls ESPN which is the main outlet for sports narrative. Don't you find it funny how much Steph got hate from that 2016 finals on ESPN(like no mentions of him winning in a 7 game series vs OKC and this with the bad knee), or how Kobe never gets mention as being better than LeBron, or how there is always somebody defending LeBron and blaming others for loses, or hell how KD always was put second fiddle to LeBron even after he won the 2014 MVP. They Changed the Kyrie Irving trade situation Completely. Of It really being his(LeBron's) fault for pushing it and Spinned it to being Cavs management fault. He wanted the Cavs to shop Kyrie, reason why the Bledsoe and PG13 deal was on the table during draft night. It didn't go through because the Cavs wanted LeBron to sign an extension as equal payment but he refused. So that left the Cavs with a bad situation. They knew in the future that LeBron and Kyrie would most likely leave with nothing in return so they decided to trade Kyrie to get something out of the player for the future. Reason why they traded him to a Team with multiple picks like Boston and got IT4 cause he was balling and a defender in Jae Crowder to give LeBron a team that can still compete. At the time people(no everybody on ESPN) said the Cavs won the trade. Well it backfired on them. Most of it due to those players inability to fit in the LeBron System. It wasn't their fault since offensively, its just LeBron kick and drive. Then defensively, no real plan but trying to double and trap a team's best player. Leaving to real communication issues because guys weren't on the same page. Then when losses come LeBron goes into his passive aggressive mode in interviews then ESPN goes on to bash LeBron's teammates. Making the culture so unbearable reason why Kyrie left. Now people might try to say my point is bullshit (Really Bronsexuals like Max Kellerman and Shannon Sharpe) and I'm a Celtics fan so my claim is biased and just another LBJ hater... No that is not it in the slightest, thats the truth to the situation. Remember when LeBron went off on the media saying the Cavs needed a another ball handler? We all know damn well he wasn't talking about no bought out old Deron Williams. That was a shot at Kyrie and a power play trying to force the Cavs management to getting CP3. He wanted Kyrie gone for CP3. Dan Gilbert, who was on his last nerve with LeBron, probably had enough heart to inform the player that he drafted and gave a contract to in 2014 with a pitch, promising that he would be the face of the team going forward and have a squad built around him; before later blindsiding him with LeBron, the truth about what LeBron was trying to pull. Reason why Kyrie asked for a trade so abruptly. Yes LeBron said he didn't want Kyrie traded at that point in time, which was true, but that was because he wouldn't get what he wanted out of the deal. Make no mistake he was trying to trade Kyrie but not for someone that wouldn't benefit his needs. So it was too late at that moment and Kyrie showed he was smarter than LeBron by leaving LeBron before LeBron left him. So IT never had a chance from the start and when he opened his mouth to criticize LeBron's running of the team, he got shunned by LeBron and his click. So when he got traded to LA, the LeBron agency ESPN, spinned it to a different narrative and placed all the blame on IT and the Cavs management but not LeBron. People better wake up to this fact, LeBron has more control than people realize.

LeBron wouldn't sacrifice his role as main facilitator so IT was not nearly as effective with the Cavs. LeBron should've let IT run the offense 100% and he can play off the ball, where I believe he can be more dangerous since all eyes would be on him and not IT. It could've worked but the Cavs don't have a real coach nor a real offensive or defensive strategies. They just run everything through LeBron and that shit ain't gonna cut it in this league anymore. Especially with an aging LeBron.

Rafael Castano I said this before they traded him. IT is still a star offensively but the offense has to go through him. They could've easily had a great offense with LeBron playing off ball and LeBron could've focused more on defense which would've made up for IT's lack of defense. And if you look at what Wade is doing back in MIA they could've done the same thing whenever Wade was on the floor with LeBron.
